It was on Twitter, some funny banterists are regularly making up quotes because a #lads account took a fake Doucoure quote and ran with it. They are obviously fake but doesn't stop the vegatables amongst our social media support and on here furiously ******* themselves about them.
Oh, I still ****ed over it, even though I knew it was fake. The idea of loyalty from a player, even if completely false, is getting me so hard right now.
Nothing wrong with having a new topic to focus on, just about spent on ideas for Jane from accounts now.
I believe it's a concerted covert campaign from Lovehoney and Ann Summers to infiltrate the minds and libido's of football forum users during transfer windows. The more these fake stories come out the more people self manipulate themselves into a frenzy. It's only a matter of time before the forum offers no satisfaction for the user and porn sites (money is ploughed into them through the back door by legitimate sex stores) become the mainstay of the football fanatic. The two companies are working extra hard this year as they've a World Cup to compete against. It's your basic Infiltrate-Social-Media-And-Dominate-Your-Customer business plan.
We've gotta be careful. Much more of this and the Mods will claim we are off topic and start a new thread a la Gray.
Reported. That much repetition is just sticking two fingers up to the mods, this forum, and Watford fans every where.
This is the forum equivalent of the Battocchio goal. Effortless, sweeping &, very possibly, annoying to Yorkshire people.
There were two clips of that goal, one taken from either side of the stadium. One was used on MOTD and the other, much better view seems to have been lost.
He's done okay since leaving us in 2014. He went on loan to Italian side Virtus Entella who I think they were Serie B then. In 2015 he moved to French Ligue 2 side Brest. According to Wiki he played 68 times scoring 13 goals in the process. Impressive. Then in 2017 he moved to M. Tel Aviv on a 2-year deal. What surprised me most when looking at all this was he's still only 26! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cristian_Battocchio
I liked him, always seemed a cheerful chap. Mildly surprised he hasn't been slightly higher up as he was pretty good technically just a little vertically challenged.
Bless him! I would say that was just a player reaching his potential at 16 and never improving. I had a county team mate who (sorry if I'm repeating myself) was a semi finalist in the Orange Bowl* at Under 12. She never improved. You could argue that being in the top four in the world is a great achievement in any case but perhaps it is better to steadily improve,a la Hessenthaler/Ian Wright? Interesting debate though. * World Championships at Under 12.
