McCulloch was a scruffy sort but sang like an angel. I once saw them in a glorified scout hut in Wiltshire. From 10 ft he blew the top of your head off. Tragic about young De Freitas. Bike crash at 27. My mate knew him & says he was a lovely chap.

Interesting Meister. Most people go upstairs and forget what they went upstairs for. What’s it like living in your bedroom?
Lets face it we're going to get stuffed The games that matter are the following series v teams at our level
Don't remember him being that tall. Yes tragic. They are still bumbling along. A bit "safe" now but "In the margins" was a good song off "Siberia" I think.
Bob Carolgees wasn’t born in Liverpool but he did open up a stage school there. So that’s enough for me. Bigger than The Beatles.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...ning-behind-watford-stoppers-arsenal-absence/ I’ll admit it. Everyone knows from my posts at thall time that I wanted us to keep Silva. I thought he could turn it around. But the tone of the statement when he was sacked definitely made me turn 180 on the situation - however, again, I will admit, I really was unsure that Gracia was a wise appointment. And was very disappointed. But I accept I was wrong. Whilst I accept any manager can fall from grace, Silva did, and with a run of bad results Gracia could too, this guy has shown everything needed in my eyes to perhaps be the manager that we finally make a run with over a number of years. No rumblings of discontent from the squad, and the first that rears its head from the unlikely source of Gomes is quietly, efficiently and classily shut down with a calm statement of facts from Gracia. Kills any story dead in the water. Will the team progress up the table with him in charge? Remains to be seen. But I for one think he’s the safest pair of hands we have had in the PL if the goal is one of continual survival. I admit I was wrong about him.
Burnsy, it takes a big man to admit they were wrong, so well done for that... ...but can you play the Chalobah role?
Can’t wait for this. Going to be our biggest win of the season. Gracia will pull off an absolute master class and stun the likes of Lawro, Merse and Big Ears. Liverpool 2-6 Watford
Could be a good time to play them. Their fans have been distracted all week sending death threats to that guy who filmed "Carra" spitting on his daughter and now they've turned their ire on TopMan over an offensive top that was definitely deliberately mocking Hillsborough and not just an unfortunate coincidence: https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/sick-offensive-topman-96-shirt-14418324
Their self grief and perception of victimisation means that they have now effectively copyrighted the number 96. Amazing.
Cathcart is back for this and so are his bicycle kicks. Liverpool 2-4 Watford Salah (2, 7), Salah (sent off 9), Cathcart (78, 82, 89, 90+3) Realistically though I'd take a humdrum 2-0 win.
I partly agreed with you at the time. Not regarding the demise of Silva or the appointment of Gracia but rather 'why does this keep happening to us all the time'. Surely it can't all just be down to the other guy's fault. There must be something more generic closer to home going on. Marco gets tempted away, Walter doesn't bother to learn to speak the language and gives up after 32 games, Quique resumes his career as a socialite in London town, the Joka is greedy. C'mon! If the Pozzo model was tweaked a bit to allow the head coach a bit more autonomy and a slightly higher profile in the 'gang of four' (which is after all what he will probably have been used to and will have informed the pedigree on which he's been hired) then we might avoid much of this malarkey. As for Javi. Excellent home record, yet to score away. Jury still out then ...
I'm surprised the game is even going ahead. Hopefully Anfield will observe its normal 90 minutes silence out of respect.
I might get to the ground 90 minutes early. Just so when the clock hits 90 in the match, I can give Jim Bowen a standing ovation...
