Who are you using as your 'average English football manager'? If you refer to BFS or Dyche then a pox riddled pixie would be likely to win this contest I believe!
Does this mean that we gentlemen are free to objectify the manager of the England women's team? Oh....
Five times in a row I call him Garcia... got to remember to switch the R around... Might take a while to remember as I kept referring to Ray Lewington as Ray Leyton... good chap mind. Wrlcome back to the Vic as a VIP anytime in my book. His sons a good footballer too.
Turns out Jesus Casas did the scouting of opponents for Enrique at Barca: http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20140...une-al-staff-de-luis-enrique_54408499559.html
We do have a few cripples in the treatment room who would benefit from his "pick up your bed and walk" routine.
Totally agree about Ray Lewington; I have a lot of time for him. He worked wonders with absolutely nothing and got a great team spirit going amongst the squad - and the fans at the time. Two semi-finals while in the second tier is not to be sniffed at either.
Very nice article. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jan/25/javi-gracia-new-watford-manager-players Seems to be a Mk2 GTi turbo charged version of QSF, happy with that.
He seems ideally suited to the Pozzo model and his attitude is refreshing after the serpentine arrogance of slither
Good article. Sounds a good guy and coach, just hope he has time to get his ideas across and the squad strengthened in time.
If we lose, say, the first 5 games under Gracia will Pozzo reach for the trap door lever once more and start Lineker, Owen, Samuels etc etc foaming at the mouth again? At least one more sacking this season would be hilarious
Seems like a genuinely lovely bloke. I'll be booing with tears in my eyes when we get beat by southampton.
If so, the club should release a speeded up video of the Pozzos chasing former head coaches around the training ground to the 'Benny Hill' theme.
Perhaps when we announce the squad each match day, we should announce the manager for that particular game too ?
“The feeling towards football in England is lovely,” he said. “I’d like to experience that. It’s attractive.” Might not be so lovely if snake turns up here with Soton.
Good idea. With Pozzo slapping the bald head of Sannino for extra laughs! Something tells me Gino has at least one more sacking left in him this season
