Only other solution possibly would be Holibas with Kabasele in the middle with the new L.B. And one of the two right backs playing and then pray!

This is great news. When else will our reserves get a run out? If we don't play them against the weaker sides in the Prem then we are paying their wages for nothing.

You are so wrong about this. Buy plain socks so that they don't require pairing into sets. What do you do if you lose one of your logo'ed pair? Exactly. You're f**ked.

Plain socks? What has this forum come too where the talk is of wearing plain socks. What about are our friends who are visiting are far superior area this weekend who work in the sock mills of Stockport and Wigan. They can't afford just to make plain socks or if they did then mill would close. Can you live with that thought, WELL CAN YOU??

And for some reason that post got cut short too.

    Plainly not MPR.

Anyway, I did decide to mow the lawn on Tuesday.

    Motive: to reduce its height
Opportunity: an hour's break in the rain
    Means: Qualcast

    A victimless crime.

Judging by their forum they are a very sensitive bunch of ladymen that will take offence at your post as well as actually take it seriously. It's you sir that should be aware of their wrath when they write a stern post about you on their forum.

0-3 looks about right for me. Their front 2 and AMs vs no Prodl, Kaboul, or Britos so presumably Kabs and Maps ??? I would be surprised if we kept it to 3 tbh.

BTW I haven't mown my lawn since June.

Any tips on how I can get someone else to do it for me?

    2-4 City.

Unless Deeney starts and you can reverse that scoreline.

Might as well give Wague a chance, we already know Mariappa is going to struggle here and its a good chance to see what he can do in a game we all expect to lose anyway

In general I have no beef with your suggestion, he is in his prime but is prone to slicing. You may find he'll add meat to our defence, he is is lean and I think he'll cut the mustard. Better on a Sunday though

I see 'the BBC's football expert' 'Lawro' is predicting a 3-0 City win. I also notice that the same 'football expert' is currently in 6,198th place in the BBC's EPL score prediction table!

Perhaps the Beeb should announce the winner of the score prediction league will get Lawro's job from next year.

I think that would be very popular amongst the licence payers.

Tough. This is capitalism Knight. If the sockmakers can't adapt to the needs of the market then I'll just take my business to China. They can join the miners at the jobcentre for all I care.

Do they wear socks in China, thought they were more of a sandal/slipper type nation, easier to slip off for random ninja attacks that go on all the time there.

No, socks are second nature to the Chinese! The town of Datang is known as 'Sock City' and produces over a third of the world's socks; over 8 billion pairs a year.

Thanks, you learn something new every day. I will now alter my stereotypical person in China to a sock wearer, excellent news as I fear the winters are quite harsh in certain parts of the country.

No you are not. If you have plain socks, they do not need pairing, then also, if one gets worn out, or lost, then the other goes in the draw, and next time the same happens, you have a pair again.
Think we have a chance of winning, so am a bit excited, but I have to admit that I think we have an even bigger chance of losing.
I will be wearing black socks to the game, because I will be wearing black trousers, because they go better with the Watford shirt, and match also the players black shorts.
Tonight, to the pub, I will be wearing brown socks, because I am wearing brown shoes.
The reason I am wearing brown shoes, is because I am trying to wear them out so I can dispose of them, because they leak when it rains.

    1. You should wear your red trousers tomorrow, we all know that red goes better with the Watford top!

Acccording to the Beeb, rain is forecast between 4 and 7ish. Therefore I'd give it an hour to dry out a bit, planning your departure at around 8pm.

The rest of the evening looks overcast but dry.

    Have a lovely evening.
