Well... i hope everyone enjoyed the last 2 games. I certainly did! Thoroughly entertaining watching from the outside. I know next time I play I wont last more than 2 days now though. Too many people will know that I know how they play so either a wolf will kill me ot a seer will view me first!! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Bit of a baptism of fire for me in my 1st ever game. From gamma to beta after day 1 to alpha after Friday. Not sure there was much more I could have today to avoid getting lynched.
Many thanks for the 2 games Harrow . Hoping for a change of fortune in the next one ,still can't believe I hit the martyr on the first go !
Actually mate I double bluffed myself with that. I thought it was such an obvious choice for the kill and that the Guardian would also think that it was tooooo obvious and protect someone else.
Glad I wasn't the only one! Well played team good. Thanks for running another very entertaining game, Harrow. BRLR, your write-ups were excellent and, as someone who's on the squeamish side, I appreciated my more ladylike demise of being bored to death! Would be good to have a summary from the wolves of why they killed the players they did. Who was the traitor?
As soon as squibba viewed you that was it. I put the new seer in as with 2 wolves, i thought the villagers were up against it. So when steve was lynched and then squibba viewed you I thought that was just typical! You played well IMO. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Someone was bummed to death by a wolf. Forgot who but that was just brutal! BRLR was the traitor... which worked out perfectly as he knew who was good or bad when doing the write ups. There was nothing to hide which was great! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Mate you were fantastic. I knew BRLR was the traitor quite early on but you were doing such a great job spreading confusion that it was better to let you live. Wanted to take out squibba but he had been so against me (along with Otter) early on that it would have been too obvious
I generally come out of these games wondering what the hell just happened!!! I literally had such little time for this game that I was just picking up chunks here and there. Definitely could have done woth a bit more time to read though bits and respond to some comments at the time rather than 4 hours later when they have already been past.
Otter you are a formidable competitor at this. You picked the NW/BRLR axis of evil quite early. Squibbas proposed plan on Thursday of lynching NW then me ( I think) would have also have got the victory for team good but you guys ending up going down the Harrow Steve path. Of course if anyone had noticed my message to Harow Steve on Day 1 you could have had 2 EVIL kills immediately.... Post #74 was me replying to Harrow Steves first message of the game.... "Difficult to come up with any logical thought processes so early with so little to go on . What traits would the Wolf show on Day 1? "
BTW Otter were you the Witness? You responded to Harrow Steves first post on Day 1 by accusing him straight out of being the Alpha.
Im happy to run the next game whenever that is. Think I know enough about it now and could use the chance of learning more by being in the omniscient role.
It seriously felt like an episode of Columbo as I knew the guilty parties and it seemed so did he. "Now just one more thing Mr NW Orn"
I thought so too. Still not that great at it!!! I don't mind running one again too after you. It is enjoyable watching, and running the game is less time intensive.
Not sure about that! I had Wednesday to Friday off work last week and rather than sleeping in I had to set an alarm at 9 so I could get everything up and running for the next day I did try to go back to sleep after but I couldn't! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
I always think you're a good player, Meh!, and to be fair you were one of the few early doors to follow logic to realise that SLB must be the harlot. But I have to admit, I couldn't decide whether you were good or evil! Otter certainly came good for team good at the end but I thought he was evil at one point as he refused to believe SLB could be the harlot and accused me of being the traitor for believing SLB. Poor Daft Row, again....
Friday was a funny day as I'd taken the morning off for my son's sports day at school. I got back to my desk in the afternoon and had zero motivation to do any work. By about 4pm I thought I'd narrow down the evil people to 3 from 6 (BRLR wasn't one of those as I'd taken it at face value that the first message was the seer). With the 6 and I included SLB as an additional measure, I knew that from the start of Day 3 that the wolves knew each other and obviously the traitor knew the wolves so they wouldn't vote for each other. The yellow represented who had voted for who, the other colours related to accusations. However the picture was incomplete until Friday's votes, that's why I held back. I think it was PJ's vote that tipped the balance such that either NW Orn was evil or if not the only other combinations included hornetgags apart from one. So I voted hornetgags on Friday to highlight the fact; but once Steve harrow was named as evil it crossed off hornetgags all together leaving NW Orn almost certainly evil. I didn't get BRLR until this afternoon but I was pleased to have named both wolves by day 3, the only person in my way was With A Smile, he kept questioning me so I couldn't get it out of my mind that he was evil, the problem was that my chart (after Friday's votes) suggested that he could only be evil if Meh was, but I knew by then that Meh was good. I had no idea who the seer or guardian were.
HH I was a bit suspicious of you because you asked whether a dead harlot would be called very good in the sign up thread, I was thinking if the harlot was already dead then if SLB was a wolf then no one would challenge it and anyone taking it as face value so quickly could be a traitor. My post in the middle of Day 3 extensively highlighted why SLB was probably telling the truth.
It was Squibba's response to #bingogate that gave him away as the Seer. He was so adamant that it was a mistake and that we should trust him, coupled with the fact he was confirmed Good that it had to be him. I tried to let him know that I knew by sending the message "in Squibba I trust" and his response pretty much confirmed it. He made it even more obvious today, using the same words in his Seer's message today as he used as Squibba on Fri - i.e. the Seer probably didn't have enough time to read all the messages as they only found out late the night before.
The WaS and Grrwood stand off didn't help team good, the evil team obviously stood back and let them get on with it and waste a couple of days (and villagers)
Just got home, so well done guys, well done Otter It was a toss up at times whether it was otter or BRLR who was the traitor and possibly the seer. By day 3 nothing was happening, everyone was being cagey and non committal, even when i did try to ruffle some feathers and start accusing people, no one bit. It was only Otter a couple of days later that stood his ground. Sorry Grrwood. On day 1 there were a couple of posts that you made comment on, I think one was saying "thats a good start" when Ashdon was named good. i thought that was a message to the other wolfs. Also because he didn't vote on day 1 and very late on day 2 it made me very suspicious of him. Hey at least I got you another day in the village !! Poor daft row, you have to feel sorry for him, there was almost a resigned feeling in his posts once he realised it had happened again
You'll see in the cemetery that I was convinced you were evil after you didn't vote for WAS at a decisive time, even though Grrwood was obviously good.
This threw me. Thought you were communicating a message to each other. Once mike was revealed as good I thought you were too as wouldn't have exposed yourself so early for no reason if you were evil.
I knew I was a marked man, and wanted to be a bit maverick to see where you went with it. If you were the witness, it might draw attention to a wolf. If you were the traitor, I thought I might confuse the wolf.
Both on Day 1 and Day 2 I tried to pick obvious kills so I could meet the other wolf thinking this would be an advantage. However by the night me and Steve Harrow picked Diamond I was already pretty sure he was the other wolf and said so in my night kill PM to HO. After that it actually became a disadvantage because team good knew that we knew each other and ultimately that was the basis of our undoing. It's almost as if you're better off trusting your instincts rather than having them confirmed.
I'm really enjoying my role, can you make sure I'm tinker again next time guys?! In all seriousness well done guys and thanks again Harrow.
We went off site for the cemetery. if you want to see what we were thinking it's here... http://wfcwerewolf.proboards.com/board/3/werewolf-discussion (password has been removed)
