Completely took Khan's words out of context to make a political point, and stir up the red-blooded confederates.
Luckily we have a strong and stable leader who stands up for Britain. Wait until she hears about this. She'll sort Trump out for sure. #strongerforBritain.
Trump = liar according to Comey, his administration liars also, to back up Flynn, another liar. Essentially as a big a group of lying scummers as you could fit in an Oval Office.
Officially under investigation for obstruction of justice, per Special Counsel Mueller. https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...tml?tid=a_breakingnews&utm_term=.b43895c5ef2b
Trump dumped by the look of it. No mention of his state visit in the Queen's Speech as would be customary. Most commentators suggesting it's been kicked into the long grass.
There is a gif/video of Stone Cold hitting Trump with a Stunner with the US Department of Justice logo over his face, but I cannot find the original source to upload it
I think Trump's great entertainment and you lot should leave him alone He's the political equivalent of the worst of x factor, can't wait until the day he walks around in a banana suit
Can someone explain what needs to happen before Trump is sent packing for what we all 'know' about the Russian links?
Honestly the dems taking the house during the midterms. There is so much happening all the time it does not seem like one thing will stick around long enough to do any damage. I for one don't think there is any thing to impeach him as of now, but certainly there should be investigations (which there are some), and certain people around him should be vetted again.
Yep. It's no crime to be an idiot. We need a crime, proof of a crime, and enough people in the Congress that would vote to say it was a crime to get him booted. Right now, of those three items, we have none of them. Yet.
It won't happen anytime soon. Everything the US Government does is slow. Mueller is the one to watch. When he moves (and it's looking increasingly certain that it will be "when", not "if"), it'll all start unraveling. Based on the current leaks coming out of the US media, there's a good chance Ivanka, Donald Jr., Kushner, Manafort and Flynn are all going down with him at a bare minimum. Interestingly, Jill Stein is apparently now a target of Mueller's investigation, too.
Won't matter if he does. Presidential Pardon can only pardon federal crimes and has no power over state prosecutions/convictions. One of the requirements of a Presidential Pardon is an admission of guilt. At that point they'll be prosecuted at state level, which the pardon can't prevent. While untested in the courts, the prevailing opinion is that the President can't pardon himself, either.
Trump retweets Britain First posts. A new low. What an ignoramus. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42166663
Safe to say it was a country we weren't in thrall to Boris would be summoning their ambassador to the Foreign Office for a dressing down about now.
There should certainly be no state visit. We cannot roll out the red carpet for someone who encourages a hate groups. Real people get hurt physically hurt by their followers, Jo Cox only one example. It's like Theresa May tweeting the Klan, though I expect they'd be no complaints from the White House at that.
Trump hits back at May. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42176507 It’s a shame that none of the right wing voices on here care enough about the promotion of right wing extremism to comment. ZZ normally quick to thunder his disapproval of some minor academic caught in a PC storm, silent on this. Team troll in the shape of Jumbo and iamofwfc, unable to show agreement that would indicate some even handedness. Poor show.
Don't think you'll find many right wingers on here. Some people right of your personal position of course but I've not seen any right wingers as you put it. Most on here have a grain of intelligence and can deduce that Trump is a disaster waiting to happen. Mod hat on. Can we stop calling out other posters personally. Threads only go one way from there.
Fair enough Meister. I do continue to find myself disappointed at the lack of concern shown by certain, normally, vocal elements, who will remain unnamed.
I think everyone is pretty much fed up of Trump's **** now and are just waiting for the inevitable impeachment.
I don’t agree. I think he is very successfully playing to an audience, the sort of people who believe you can’t say ‘Christmas’ anymore or call boys and girls ‘boys and girls’. They know who they are and they should withdraw their approval.
I think there's a certain section in the US who are not necessarily world aware and hence voted him in. The only people I can think of over here who endorsed him are Piers Morgan and Farage. Those people taken in by his **** are also the sort of people that won't understand they're being taken in by his **** so won't really know that giving their approval is a bad idea. Mind you the alternative was Clinton and she was equally bad as a candidate just in different ways. World politics has gone belly up recently. got a feeling we're goign to see some big changes as the public get more and more disaffected. It could be a good thing or it could be a very bad thing.
Wasn't disaffection precisely the reason why Trump was elected (and also a large part of why Leave won)?
It is suggested as one of the reasons. Disaffection with regular politics and politicians doesn't mean that you have to be happy with the replacement though. If you're unhappy with a spouse punching you it doesn't mean you have to be happy with our next spouse kicking you. What you need is a spouse that does the dishes/puts up shelves*. *delete accordingly for desired sexual stereotype.
Why was Clinton equally bad? I doubt she would be supporting Britain First. I find this equivalence dubious.
Trump's tweets are ridiculous but if sending silly social media messages are all he does to upset the Muslim community I don't think history will be too hard on him. Compared to Blair's illegal war Trump's bonkers twitters seem irrelevant
From a racist point of view there's no contest. There are a lot of allegations regarding corruption with Clinton. There's nasty because you don't know better and there's nasty becasue you're nasty. Whilst Overall Clinton was probably the best option if someone can confiscate Trumps twitter account he'll probably end out being less damaging. Don;t get me wrong, neither of them are any good. The choice was kick in the balls or poke in the eye.
