Just to put a reality check on
Amrabat he was good for us start of the season then got injured at a crucial time. Came back not in the same form which can happen after a lay off.

I had Silva at 6/1 , bit annoyed missed out on next manager to be sacked for mazzarri's at 10/1, couldn't find the market in my mobile and tried to put 10 pounds on man city to beat Watford at 18/1 but lost my signal when in the ground so lost out

I didn't bother reading the article on him from the official site, but I assume it's just the same as every other manager we've had and they've just swapped the names out.

It will be interesting to see who comes in on the playing side. Silva will have watched may tapes on us and built a game plan when he was at Hull on how to win. Should be a crystal clear and pretty scathing analysis on who he considers not good enough and who he rates. The first buys will tell us a lot.

 

Agree with you mate. The fact that he picked us over 3 other Prem teams and Porto (according to Sky, we know Palace and Southampton held talks with him, not sure who the 3rd Prem team is) tells us a lot. I honestly think we are going to see the Pozzo's back him big time financially. He is one of the most talked about managers in Europe right now, which will only help us attract players to Watford. Wouldn't be surprised to see 7-9 new faces through the doors.

Definitely exciting times ahead.

 

Yes and I remember how he turned Clucas inside out down the right hand side of the area at the Rookery bend in our home game against Hull.

The amount of drivel is hilarious.

They really believe they are a bigger club because they have Zaha and Benteke. Someone should tell them that the only reason Zaha signed a 5 year deal was so they can get maximum money for him, like us with Deeney. I look forward to Zaha being sold this summer or January and Palace fans crying their little eyes out "but...but...*sniff*...he signed a 5 year deal." I'm guessing we will see Zaha at either Newcastle, Liverpool, Everton or a big club like Watford.
