A few interesting decisions for Walter to make tomorrow:

Janmaat back at right back or play a centre back there? Normally, this would be a no-brainer but think that Zaha would destroy Janmaat.
Persevere with two up front or drop Okaka and revert to a 4-3-3/4-5-1?
If we play 4-3-3 who gets the nod on the opposite flank to Niang? Success or Amrabat?

 

Wait, so oliver Grove isn't happening? I bought new trainers for it.

 

It is a tricky one and difficult to guess.

Whatever Walt decides I hope we have the resolve to back up whoever is marking Zaha.

I would start Success but I suspect there is more chance of Walt reciting the complete works of Shakespeare in a mockney accent!

 

I must admit facing the Watford firm would be terrifying,You should come down to marsh farm it's a lovely place,PM me for a meet up,there is a really nice pub in the centre,they do a good selection of food and drinks.

I would pick Janmaat over Kaboul or Cathcart at right back any day. Or over both of them together. Even Mariappa should walk into the team at RB before Kaboul ever plays there again.

I was always under the impression highgrade was Barry O'Neill.

I seem to remember about 6 years ago when he came on here enquiringly whether tickets were available for a particular game. Subsequently one poster said it was sold out and the entire forum played along for a significant amount of time.

Some of you may know who BN is, highly involved in the 1881. In which case, he goes to near enough every match.

I made that link simply because when he was asking about the tickets he stated his full name.

Very even at the moment. Neither team has had any chances, pretty much cancelling each other out. Seems to be a bit of a waiting game.

We just can't manage a coherent attack or defence. We lurch from one to another without achieving a balance. Mazzarri just can't cut it here.

Ambrabat was a 2nd half substitute after missing 10 games. He aint Pele.

 

We look bad. We can't manage a balance between defence or attack. Hell, that football was as bad as under QSF today at its worst which is really damning as that football was horrendous. I'm generally positive about our performances even when we've been ****e but there's no defending that today. We can't attack without sacricing our defence or vice versa and that falls on the manager. Our defence played well and the OG was unfortunate but we were set up to fail. I would compliment CP if they played well but neither team deserved a win.

All the issues QSF displayed that damned him are started to appear here. Poor attacking displays, an over reliance on Deeney, favourites in Capoue and an unwilligness to change the game.
