Troy has hardly had any crosses he can attack like the Guedi cross v Wigan away. When he gets the chances he will put a few headers away.
Deeney Stats Right Foot 14 Left Foot 4 Head 3 Shocking really but we were not a crossing team #wheresthewidth!
Deeney does barely score any with his head, but that's not really his fault. We haven't floated any decent crosses in for a few years now. The small number of headed chances he's had have generally been put away.
Says we are competing with Galatasray for Doumbia http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/serie-a/roma-e-turchia-vs-inghilterra-per-gervinho-e-doumbia-704932
Roma director Sabatini will discuss Doumbia with Watford & Gervinho with West Ham http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/eng/...-doumbia-with-watford-gervinho-with-west-ham/ … Looks like it is still on
I meant in terms of non home grown place, which is why FF would need to go to make room. That is of course we sign Britos, Taider and Berghuis
I think its safe to say from the strength of rumours that we re going to sign another 2 or 3 players.
I adore the cheeky little scamp, but if Fessi can't earn himself a regular start in the championship how is he going to do it in the prem, and why would we use up a valuable nhg slot :'(
I don't expect to see Nando leave. He's capable of playing in any of the front four positions. With only four non-youth strikers on the books, we can't really afford to ship someone with that level of flexibility out.
From TuttoUdinese. Seems to imply that the writer/website was told by Doumbia that it is likely. If we sign him and Berhuis (in the middle of our street) doesnt leave much room for Vydra and Ighalo in that front four. Watford studies the big hit in the attack. And after Holebas now he could get another player from Roma. It is taken from Ivorian striker Seydou Doumbia Giallorossi during the summer market from CSKA Moscow. The adventure giallorossa was disappointing and the attacker wants to change air. For this TV journal he says that there would be a track Watford rather active. Confirmations are expected in the coming days.
Our strikers are, if this comes to fruition: Deeney, Vydra, Ighalo, FF, Doumbia Vydra could play wide and still be OK (4 Goals in 8 Games [Starts or as Subsitute as well?]is not a bad return when at WBA), Ighalo can play deeper according to Flores but where does that leave FF? Deeney and Doumbia will probably compete against each other for No. 9
It all depends who is on form surely? You can't say which players are guaranteed to start. I personally think Vydra will struggle to get a game out wide even because despite him tracking back a bit last season I don't think he's disciplined enough to get back and keep the shape when we're defending, which Quique seems to drilling into them going by WD Sport comments on the training so far.
Flores meddles and rotates, just like his mentor Benitez he likes to use the whole squad ... Don't worry they'll all get their chance.
And has been replaced himself after a pretty anonymous 30 minutes. Could this be the moment his move to WFC is sealed?
Vydra CANNOT play out wide, guys. This was why he struggled at West Brom. Vydra is a central striker and will be devastatingly good in that position for us for many years.
Not enough evidence in that spell that at 21/22, that because he played a few out wide in a different system QSF can't make it work this time. He'll play in one of the three behind Deeney. The key is to not negate his strengths, which can be done.
But we are only playing one up, so where does that leave him (and others) if we sign these wingers? Can he play in the whole behind deeney. If so, won't it look a lot like 442? Can see ighalo being sold personally and Vydra being sub
