I think our badge is actually good and there's no chance they'd make it a Hornet imo. Clubs have been changing badges to make it simpler and more recognisable and easier to market. Our's is instantly recognisable already.

Some ideas here. Let's change it!

 

The hart/stag is one of the most beautiful and elegant creatures in all of heraldry (second only to the unicorn IMO), and the fact that we managed to balls it up quite so completely is a constant source of anger to me.

Besides, if we had a new design, the old one would become retro and suddenly cool - so win/win. We need to petition the club yesterday.

To change the badge at present time is the ranting of a heretic its a no from me.

ps I think Mansfield are the stags and prob some canadian side would be the mooses not Watford!

Yep - keep the current design sans moose and replace with a hart.

Job's a good'un.

Depending how how it looks, I could even get behind a straight yellow/black offshoot of our current crest, although I think the red gives it presence.

What I like about our badge is the simplicity of the design. Ignoring the obvious "derp!" factor of the moose, it's very simple and eyecatching, thus effective. Most clubs have these ridiculously over the top heraldry inspired badges that can't be easily identified or distinguished at a mere glance. Not us.

I'm pretty sure Carlos designed a new badge for us a while ago. Maybe we could get the pozzos to commission him to make a new one

 

I want this. Someone ****ed up with a moose. Fixing it wouldn't be changing the club, it would be putting it right.

 

Wouldn't it be easier to change our home shirt colours to a dark brown fur effect and celebrate our real heritage?

Have to say I quite like our current badge

 

Not going to lie, I actually prefer the badge that this graphic designer did. Though I'd change the Hart slightly so that it looked a bit angrier, I'd get rid of the triangle because it sticks out badly and I'd remove the football as it kinda looks like the Jagermeister logo. Other than that, it actually looks really nice and the kit that the Don put below with the altered logo would look amazing

The artist's 'hart' looks like a bear/badger wearing antlers. Quite odd.

PES called us Hertfordshire FC.

 

I'm just glad, and a little bit sad, that we don't come from Trumptonshire. That badge would be a little risque I think. One lump or two?

 

I'll have you know that Fernando put a lot of effort into designing that badge.
