It frustrates me that after we went 4-0 v Charlton (h) and Fulham (a) we seemed content with that an never pushed the "annihilate them" button but at least we did get a late 5th in both.

But by settling for the win and not pushing on, perhaps we were fresher for the following games, both of which we won.

I think there is greater value in being fresh for the next game than smashing a team and being knackered. 3 points is more important in a game than goal difference.

It would be nice if someone could post the fixture lists for all the teams that are realistically in with a shout of automatic promotion or maybe for the current top eight or so?

I would do it, but I am sure there are people on here who have far better computer skills than me and would be able to collate all that information in minutes whereas it would take me forever doing it the old fashioned way :-[

I did this which is a decent comparison: http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?p=1054649#post1054649

Lower the number = harder the games.

You know this club has come a long way when a supporter voices his discontent at two 5-0 wins.

We've been over this total BS so many times. It's best not to respond.

Yes - we only get 3 points for beating teams in the top 8. Beat other teams all you like as long as you realise you don't get any points for doing so.

Following on from WhaleBait, I'm bored and fancy colouring the games on expected degree of difficulty. At this point of the season it is rather hard to predict anything as the bottom teams play their best football when trying to stave off relegation, anyway.

    Middlesbrough:

    Nottm Forest (A)
    Ipswich (H)
    Derby (A)
    Bournemouth (A)
    Wigan (H)
    Watford (A)
    Rotherham (H)
    Wolves (H)
    Norwich (A)
    Fulham (A)
    Brighton (A)

Really, really tough run for Boro.

Minimum points I think they may pick up - 10
Maximum points I think they may pick up - 18

    Final: 80 points

    Derby:

    Birmingham (H)
    Norwich (A)
    Middlesbrough (H)
    Wolves (A)
    Watford (H)
    Wigan (A)
    Brentford (H)
    Blackpool (H)
    Huddersfield (A)
Millwall (A) - Could be a relegation decider at that point.

    Minimum:13
    Max:21

    Final: 82

    Watford:

    Wolves (A)
    Reading (H)
    Wigan (A)
    Ipswich (H)
    Derby (A)
    Middlesbrough (H)

    Millwall (A)
    Nottm Forest (A)
    Birmingham (H)
    Brighton (A)
    Sheff Wed (H)

    Minimum:15
    Maximum:21

    Final: 82

    Bournemouth:

    Fulham (A)
    Blackpool (H)
    Cardiff (A)

    Reading (A)

How you've been using these forums for over 8 years and don't quite know how to navigate to another website to view a fixture list I don't quite know.

I love Malky right now but I'm fickle. By about 9.30pm I might hate him again.

If Dirty Leeds can take points off Ips**t I might start liking Russell Crowe too.

TBO though that might be taking things to a bit far.

The next three games influence the importance of the following three. We can afford a slip or two in those games if we win the next 3.

And if we're if the current situation was going into the last game, it wouldn't be that awful. Obviously be better being 4 points clear by then, but we'll see how we go.

    But they're unbeatable.
They're basically the Brazilian 1970 World Cup team, with six fingers on each hand obviously.
