I think it's more for planning for life in League 1. Millwall fans not happy on social media about his exclusion.
Maybe with a handful of games left to secure survivial Harris is looking for goals and assists from his forwards... rather than flip flaps and overhit crosses Just a thought
Yeah well we'll see how that works out. It's certainly started well with a goalfest from them against Bolton yesterday. More likely is they are preparing for next season by using players that will be there. Diego Fabbrini will not be playing in League One next year.
They're screwed with or without Fabs. Might as well play him & give the fans some fun on the way back to league 1
It's probably good to let him have a run-out in a pressure-free environment. Gutted for Millwall though; he seemed to be their best player so now I don't know what they think they're going to do.
Millwall only have themselves to blame if they wanted to keep him. Harris wasn't giving him game time and it seems pretty clear that the management want him to get games to help him adapt to the division/country.
Here's one for WatfordTalk....Poor chap is rather confused. Both tweets sent right after each other as well!
Let's all take a moment to spare a thought for Birmingham City, who were playing European football three seasons ago. Now we're loaning them Fabbrini and Dyer.
I wonder what Diego will make of constant ELO tracks? Drive him potty, like the rest of us I suppose!
His loan at Millwall was up in a couple of weeks anyway and couldn't be renewed. If we wanted to send him anywhere else until the end of the season yesterday was the last day. I would personally be surprised if money came into the equation.
I personally reckon that we're wanting to sell him at the end of the season. Since Millwall seem to be benching him to prepare for life in League 1 we need to put him in the shop window for prospective buyers.
Yep, Brum would seem to be more likely to buy him than Millwall. Let's hope they have lots of easy matches so nobody notices that he doesn't put in a challenge.
Diego Fabbrini to give me a great birthday present by scoring against Bournemouth in a Brum win on the 6th. A man can dream.
You mean he sounds like he's got a permanent cold when he speaks? Or that he'll tumble onto a shot-put circle the next time he scores?
That might be too deep (/old) for many on here! In fact I'd have struggled if it hadn't been played on R2 over the weekend.
Yes. I was going to say he would make defenders "turn to stone" as he became a "Wild West (midlands) hero" but then that might make me seem like an ELO fan! Not much ELO on Kiss fm these days as the young guys down the gym tell me Good luck Fab
