TBF hes had more than enough time to prove himself. I ll be sad to see him go but we re not little old Watford anymore.

It's a well known fact that teams who lose their managers often experience a short upturn in fortune.

I can only assume that the Pozzos are attempting to ride a glorious wave of continuous upturned fortunes all the way to the premier league.

 

Hasselbaink would be a good appointment, hes been in a similar situation before

 

I resign. I'd like to place on record my thanks for 30-odd years pleasure that Watford have given me, but I now consider my position as a true supporter of this shambles utterly untenable. I wish Watford FC utter failure in all their endeavours.

 

I remember Hasselbaink being overweight and none too complimentary to the Watford away support at Cardiff in the dying embers of his playing career.

 

Serious questions need to be asked of the club, this is insane.

We can't assume this is the club. If McKinlay hadn't signed a contract by Thursday (per Frank Smith) then it's very possible the club has had nothing to do with him leaving.
