Under the Pozzos we have been quietly going about our business, a few articles in the national newspapers aside. There's been very little hype, very little attention from the rest of the footballing world. Where-ever Becks ends up, it will be a circus, a potentially disruptive one. It's the last thing we need (unlikely though it is that it would ever happen)
Hahahaha. To clarify, there are 3 pages on this forums in the space of 6 hours discussing the possibility of DAVID BECKHAM joining WATFORD. Fantastic, thankyou for this :sign15:
Was thinking that. Ex Spurs youth, no pace, past his best but with a decent cross and free kick in him still. The similarities are endless! In all honestly though on Becks, I was told by a very good source that he has having a new house built just outside St Albans (on Harpenden side) as wanted a UK base but near the airport and transport links. This was a year ago, never found out though if he did take the house on, absolutely gigantic place it is.
Maybe he could come and pay for the east stand to be built and build his house inside. Then when all the family are seen at the game they wont have far to go home. How funny if he did sign!
This one? http://globalgrind.com/style/victoria-david-beckham-beckingham-palace-hits-market-photos I think they've sold it now.

I love how every team on the globe thinks there is an outside chance of Beckham coming to them. But having said that, some of the teams and these odds are ridiculous. http://www.skybet.com/football/transfer-specials/event/14607749 PS: Do they make odds smaller than 100/1?
Preston at 100/1? Wonder if there's been anyone stupid enough to do that... Can't see him joining any English, Spanish or Italian club because the top-flight football is too high a level. Don't think he'd go to Russia or China because of the lifestyle and language (for his family). Also think it'd be difficult for him to join a different American team. That pretty much leaves PSG or Australian clubs. Considering he's played in some of the world's most glamourous cities (plus Manchester), I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him at PSG even though I don't think he's good enough to play at that level anymore. Their Arab owners aren't exactly short of money so it wouldn't be an issue financially. I'd put my money on that, personally. A move to Australia would be interesting though, the sport is really growing over there. If I were him, I'd probably go for Australia (can't say I know enough to say any teams...) but think he'll opt for PSG. That's if they even want him, though.
He said he wouldn't join another MLS team and I believe that. I'm not sure where he ends up, but A-League seems the best fit, given his soccer evangelist world view. A-League is very much like where MLS was a decade ago, for many of the same reasons. A player with the stature of Beckham can really drive interest, desperately needed as soccer toils away in ignominy under footy there. The heart of Aussie players is huge...with small numbers, they are already major threats in the AFC to Japan and Korea, and they just got there. Really good time to go there... PS: Lampard to Galaxy is all but done. PPS: I can see him coming back to MLS after he retires from playing as...Owner of the Galaxy. Write it down, Fitz told you on this date...
I see he has been linked with Celtic; that might just be a very good shout? As for Australia, I doubt Posh would sanction that one, but PSG could also be a very good shout?
My guess is either the A league for the Brand Beckham effect & to help his Mrs deisgner range take off over there, or the Middle East for the same reasons. The outside bet would be Celtic if Snoop invest's there ? He will still keep his involvement as Ambassador for MLS & eventually go back owning a franchise All of the above is guess work !
