Thats easy: - Daniel Pudil 2013 BUY Matej Vydra 2013 BUY Ikechi Anya 2013 BUY Almen Abdi 2013 BUY Marco Cassetti 2013 BUY Alexandre Geijo 2013 BUY Cristian Battocchio 2013 BUY Nathaniel Chalobah 2013 TRY TO BUY Joel Ekstrand 2013 BUY
That's harsh mate. Yes he hasn't performed to the top of his levels this season but I think he can still do a job - trying too hard if you ask me, if he relaxes a little, I think he could still have a big part to play. We need to get right behind all players at our disposal from now until the end of the season.
Hoggs done a solid job for us this season and well worth keeping..... if only for the boo boys to have to target they crave now ****o, Ilewumo and jenkins have gone out on loan and Yeates has been on the sidelines.
Almunia- 2013 - New one-year contract. Eustace- 2013 - Release, unfortunately. Hall- 2013 - New one-year contract. Yeates- 2013 - Undecided. Iwelumo- 2013 - Release. Doyley- 2013 - New two-year contract. McGinn- 2013 - New one-year contract. Buaben- 2013 - Undecided. Mingoia- 2013 - Release. Bond- 2013 - New long-term contract. Tumwa- 2013 - Release. Bonham- 2013 - New long-term contract. Hamilton-Forbes- 2013 - Release.
Almunia- 2013 - New one-year contract option to extend and start training as a coach Eustace- 2013 - New one-year contract option to extend and start training as a coach Hall- 2013 - New one-year contract with a year option extension. Yeates- 2013 - New one-year contract with a year option extension. Iwelumo- 2013 - Wish him luck elsewhere. Doyley- 2013 - New five-year contract. McGinn- 2013 - New one-year contract with a year option extension. Buaben- 2013 - New one-year contract with a year option extension. Mingoia- 2013 - Just can't see him breakign into the team I'm afraid. Bond- 2013 - New five-year contract. Tumwa- 2013 - Dunno Bonham- 2013 - New five-year contract Hamilton-Forbes- 2013 - Dunno Maybe I'm getting a little sentimental in my old age but I think we should try to retain a couple of the experienced players. They can certainly do a job if we don't go up and will be useful even if we do. I wouldn't ramp up their wages however and also allow them to go if they wanted guaranteed first team football elsewhere and received an offer.
How can people call for players like Tumwa and Hamilton-Forbes to be released. What exactly do you know about these players, their development etc.
Looking at their age and where they have got to do they honestly have a chance of getting into the matchday squad? If not, for the good of their careers they need to move on and it will not helpor us being paid a wage, to never play for us.
Bobson Bawling and Jazzi Barnum-Bobb in the youth team. I want them to be offered 5-yr contracts just so Derek Payne can mention them on hornets player.
Yea, looked it up on the Wobby and last year they had a story on who made it at the start of April so hope we find out soon
Almunia- 2013 - New contract Eustace- 2013 - Release Hall- 2013 - Release Yeates- 2013 - New contract Iwelumo- 2013 - Release Doyley- 2013 - New contract McGinn- 2013 - Release Buaben- 2013 - Release Mingoia- 2013 - Release Bond- 2013 - New contract Tumwa- 2013 - Release Bonham- 2013 - New contract Hamilton-Forbes- 2013 - Release
A lot of people have mentioned releasing the "older" players. If we do go up this could be a stumbling block. Ideally you'd like to have these players around the club even just for the experience and knowledge to pass on to the younger ones. Almunia- 2013 - New contract, still think he can cut the mus**** in the PL Eustace- 2013 - New contract/offer of a coaching role Hall- 2013 - New contract, knows the league/huge amount of experience Yeates- 2013 - New contract, would be a good squad player to have Iwelumo- 2013 - Release, you have to think his time is up. Maybe back to Wolves. Doyley- 2013 - New contract, without a doubt. Same reasons as Hall + it's Lloyd McGinn- 2013 - Release, seems to be going anyways. Shame. Buaben- 2013 - Release, I don't think he'll get a look in. Mingoia- 2013 - Release, has potential but will become the next Ross Jenkins Bond- 2013 - New contract, sign him up on a 5 year deal. Will be a huge star. Tumwa- 2013 - Obviously still young, I don't know enough to comment Bonham- 2013 - New contract, may well be 4th in line in after the close season. Hamilton-Forbes- 2013 - See: Tumwa.
Almunia- 2013 - New contract Eustace- 2013 - Release if promoted, new, short term contract if not Hall- 2013 - Release Yeates- 2013 - Release Iwelumo- 2013 - Release Doyley- 2013 - Release if promoted, new, short term contract if not McGinn- 2013 - Release Buaben- 2013 - Release if promoted, new, short term contract if not Mingoia- 2013 - Release Bond- 2013 - New contract Tumwa- 2013 - No idea Bonham- 2013 - No idea Hamilton-Forbes- 2013 - No idea
Eustace won't get a coaching contract. His playing style doesn't fit the club's anymore, why coach that? At one point, I was sure he'd be our next manager after Dyche, but we've moved past that.
At this moment in time, I would offer year extensions to Almunia, Hall, Yeates and Doyley, each with an option of an additional year, tie Bond and Bonham down to long-term contracts, allow the other 2013 contracts to expire, also release Ross Jenkins and Carl ****inson, like we did with Garner and Whichelow.
Interestingly (well, not really) I'd expected Hall to be the one people wouldn't want to keep out of them, because of his injuries. I thought it'd been almost unanimously agreed that Yeates is a decent player to have in the squad.
The league needs to be informed today about who we are releasing, but the club don't have to make it public knowledge unless they want to. Hopefully they will and we will have an insight to what plans are for next season.
I see Forsyth has another year left on his contract. Therefore I think as he is still quite young he could be well worth holding onto, as IMO he is a versatile player, he is also big, pacey and strong!!! Could he fit the defensive holding MF enforcer role in front of the Centre back's?
