Jordan Graham looks a much better prospect.

Would also look at Zack Clough. Would be cheap too.

Wolves have some cracking young players, Iorfa, Hause who didn't play today and Graham is quality. Afobe and Batth as well in that team would excite me if I were a Wolves fan, it would be a shame is KJ gets the push as that team has a lot of potential.

Byram is a bit over hyped by the media imo, he played right mid tonight and certainly wouldn't be good enough to play as right back for us.

 

Afobe hasn't even been getting in their starting line-up recently, has he?

 

Scored his 9th goal of the season tonight, I wouldn't want us to buy him though at the price they reportedly want..

10 mill I think is what Norwich offered, would quite like Iorfa though, he looks class to me.

I've heard that we are looking at Clough and had scouts to watch him recently.

Bolton are going into a financial crisis and cannot pay their staff, so he could be very cheap indeed.

 

We've been looking at Clough for 2 years now

 

But now Bolton are in meltdown and I've heard staff aren't going to get paid before Christmas for November.

We have stepped up our interest, and have had scouts to watch him in 2 of the last 3 games.

I wouldn't be surprised if we put in a cheeky bid as early as next week.

Zach Clough was excellent against us last season. It wad the game on TV I think where he scored 2. If he's available at a decent price and has potential then get it done, Ponzis!

 

Clough is Bolton's only chance to get some decent transfer cash, they will want as much cash as possible

As much as I like Zach Clough, he didn't do too much last season and isn't doing too much this season as well (albeit due to injury). Furthermore he's only being played as a centre forward and I'd rather get Adebayor than him. The only way I'd like it is if we bought him and immediately loaned him back to Bolton. I'd rather go for Demarai Gray and with our league position being as good as it is, it's not like we would be unattractive any more.

 

Honestly, the only time I've seen Zach Clough play was against us in the 4-3 last season, but from what I've heard about him he sounds like a really promising player. Would be pleased if there's any substance to that rumour.

 

Tony Gale has just been talking about us on Sky Sports News and claimed to have seen a list of names we are going for in January and implied that there are some very good players on that list - wouldn't name them, but seemed very impressed !!
