He seems to really hate the Pozzos going by his Tweets now so never know. Or a friend of Duxbury’s anyway. Like that Jon chap who has gone quiet slnce this all kicked off .
I'd never get Ford in a collar, let alone with a tie! Somewhere in WGC there is a stockpile of cat collars. Mr IBB is convinced Ford and Arthur used to remove each other's. That cat would do a better job than Duxbury.
Kieran Maguire on Twitter: "Watford take out three corporate payday loans on money owed for transfers of Masina, Pereya and Lazaro from ♂️ lender Macquarie. All players sold to Udinese, owned by same family who own…Watford. https://t.co/KWoQyK3t2j" / Twitter Lololololol
Since Duxbury gave his interview to Andrew French saying everything was great, we were planning to be debt free and only had that one loan outstanding, we've taken out five more loans. Lol!
All based around a second club owned by the same people, who have taken a huge amount of money in the last 2 years in incoming fee’s.
We're 15th in the second tier and somewhere between tens of millions and hundreds of millions in debt Yes, Bassini was a reckless and dangerous in a very visible and clownish way but strip away that facade and the true risk to the club now is far higher than it ever was under him
Ok im not an expert on business finances - but yes or no. Are we now in a worst rut when ITV Digital Collapsed and the players' took a 50% paycut?
Yes, Bassini was clearly a clown and possibly not the full picnic, but there was only so much damage he could do, as he had no money and we had no money. He certainly wouldn’t have the ability to have leveraged us up to our eyeballs with debt like Gino has.
Honestly, I think we might be We're so heavily leveraged with debt now that no one would ever buy us without PL football, which we're increasingly miles away from securing In the ITV digital or Bassini days we had no money and constantly flirted with defaulting on payments but our obligations were actually relatively small (e.g. owing the Russos £5m at our most precarious point) and so we were always a tempting prospect for a shrewd investor to pick up for a few million (as ended up happening with the Pozzos). Now we're just a massive white elephant
Next season is our last and final parachute payment of £35m, once that goes to zero, when you factor in our huge debt and liabilities, losing that £35m isn’t going to be much different (or very possibly worse) than the money we lost from the ITV Digital collapse. Yes we we have some player assets, but a season of mid table mediocrity is only going to diminish their value further from here.
The loans were for €8,075,000, €4,750,000 and €11,400,000. A grand total of €24,225,000. Not forgetting the $4.6m loan we took only a couple of weeks ago. We're loaded!!
Same. Doesn't it mean that MacQuarie give us the money upfront, Udinese the pay the scheduled instalments to MacQuarie instead of us and we have to pay the interest? Quite tired so possible I've got that completely wrong!
