I used to think Davenport was ok but he has just not improved. In fact the last few games I have seen on TV he has been terrible. Good business by Spurs imo. However, he is better than Malky and we could do with another central defender as cover.
Maybe Spurs will use the money to up their bid for Ash? I hope so (it would be good for the club, good for Ash and good for my wallet). They were offering him to us as part of the Ash deal anyway, to the value of about £2/3mil, so they might as well.
