Werewolf XVI: Day 2

To be honest I have no preference between Darave or TVOR. The reason being that I have a suspicion they're both good and have been named as part of a confusion tactic, presuming the messages we think are from the wolf are indeed from the wolf. In the first few days the Wolf basically has everybody by the balls and can, provided they're smart, do what they want.

If we lynch TVOR tonight, and he turns out to be good, would that not also make it likely that Darave has been subject to the same trick?

I don't think any Wolf is foolish enough to make it so clear that their messages belong to them. It almost seems deliberate to me, and whatever the plot is, it may be working. After all, we are no closer to knowing who the wolf is, but we're lynching TVOR or Darave based on, most likely, the Wolf's messages.

 

I think we are being led down a path to kill to kill Davare and TOV. It all seems to easy to put the pieces together. Neither of them are that foolish to leave such obvious bread crumbs. Nor do I think the wolf would be so hamfisted in is attempt to save Davare

 

For those unsure of who to vote for;

I voted for Cude yesterday. If I was the wolf and posting the first message then I would of known for sure he was evil!

TVOR didn't vote for Cude which I found really strange. Now he is trying to buy another day, to get that last kill.

 

That's a tried and tested routine though. 'Why would I vote for them if I knew they were evil?' Cude was long gone as soon as he got named.

I don't doubt that you're good, I think you probably are, but it isn't a good defence to rely on. The Wolf is, after all, a liar.

I'm going to explain this one last time. IF the first message was the wolf AND me, then the second message saying Cude is evil, would have to the seer. Therefore I would have 100% proof he's evil.

Sorry, you are right on that.

It is likely that neither of you are the wolf as I have said.

But voting for Cude and hiding amongst the majority would have been more of the wolfish thing to do.

Going out on a limb and voting for somebody away from the crowd is less wolfish.

You are probably both innocent, but of the two, you are resoundingly more suspicious.

 

I've had to skim read the last couple of pages so apologies for that but I have something important on tonight and I'm leaving very soon so on the basis that I can't make an informed choice, I'll be voting for myself and leaving the decision to other voters. I know that's an easy way out and might encourage criticism of me but I'd rather not tip the scales one way or another. If I survive being killed tonight, I'll get up to speed tomorrow, particularly from 5pm onwards.

 

Everybody looks guilty when they're defending themselves.

 

I'm leaving work now, I have a long commute but I'll be on later.

I've enjoyed today and I hope people can take the time to think about things logically voting. I may even take the time to post a defense later if people deem it necessary.

Yes, but if Darave was wolf, he'd have known that the other message, naming Cude as evil, must've come from the seer, ergo he'd have known he was voting for a fellow evil plauer, or the tinker, at the outside.

I also have to go and focus on revision now.

I think both are good, but I will vote for one for lack of any alternative. Darave knows the game well and his contribution will be valuable if he is good. No offence TVOR, but occasionally your theories and accusations tend to be a bit 'out there' and over zealous. Ordinarily I'd take that as a good thing because new perspectives are important, but when it comes down to a 50/50 choice I have to lynch you first.

 

thats actually a pretty honorable way of doing it , if I cant find anything I think I might follow suit .

 

Can someone (*) please make the case for why Darave is in the frame? I need to vote in the next hour or two and I don't want to cast my lot until all possibilities have been considered.

It's these sort of posts that I find more suspicious. There's no substance to it at all. Norwayhornet has made a fair few posts like this, so it looks like he's contributing whilst not drawing any attention to himself.

Indeed. It doesn't help the rest of us if people only vote to stay in the game. Could be seen as helping evil out, if done deliberately, time and again.

Voting for the lynching is the only power we have to win the game. If we relinquish that then we're useless to the village.

 

People find these players very suspicious. Refusing to vote for someone and make a choice is not a good way of playing the game.

Agreed. And if one is innocent, the finger has to be pointed at the other. But again, in case we lose a major role like a seer or a witness which hands the momentum to team evil, I'd rather get rid of Darave.

 

Sorry I could not stay away; lets be fair about this Darave was the 1st of us to fall under suspicion, and most people agreed on day one that he should be lynched today to make sure, so why has it been switched to me being lynched today?

It's because certain people have been gunning for me, why? The main protagonist has been Harrow Horn, and I love the way he is coming up with the, "can I change my vote" bit, he says I'm a veteran player, but I can tell you he is more experienced than me, so he knows darn well he can't. Come on guys go for Darave tonight and if he's good me tomorrow if you must, but if that happens you will be killing two good guys which would be bad, but logically it should be him tonight not me!!!

 

Fancy telling us who you think might be guilty and why?

Especially when you insist that the people mentioned in the messages are all we can go on.

 

lol harrow why dont you put the posts before and after mine or at least read them to get the gist of what Im saying ,also on day 1 i think i was 4th highest poster kinda blows your theory into the weeds , look at my day 1 posts as well harrow then think again .

for todays vote we have no concrete evidence as has been mentioned by others , that my friend is why I am struggling to decide , now feck off my land before I fill your arse wither silver buckshot .

 

Come on Norway, you know me and earlier your own logic was siding with me, it is the logical choice, so go on vote to lynch Darave, Harrow Horn is on his side

I`m not voting for either of you TVOR I`m not convinced either of you are evil , out of petty spite I might vote for harrow for trespassing on my land ! its as good a reason as any others today as we have been thin on fact and large on speculation.

Agreed the vote must be used wisely in possesion of all the facts especially if a (characters) life is at stake. Its almost as if you want us to lynch TVOR or Darave.
