Werewolf XV Rules & Questions

RULES POINT OF ORDER DIAMOND:

Extra Wolves - Each night when the Alpha wolf selects a kill, any other wolves may also select a kill. If they successfully choose the same kill as another wolf then the wolves who have selected the same kill will learn of each others identity. They are still NOT permitted to communicate with each other directly. In the event that the Alpha wolf is killed then another wolf will take their place, in order (Beta, Gamma and so on). If no wolves choose the same kill then the extra wolves choices are discarded.

You allowed two wolf kills on night one, why was one not discarded?

 

I should have changed that. Because we have 26 players, allowing only 1 Wolf kill per night could have meant a possible 12/13 day game, perhaps even longer if the Guardian is on top of their game. I even considered 3 kills per night or 2 villager lynchings per day due to numbers.

It was an oversight and I'll update the rules now.

 

Before before you you go diamond, is it within the rules to have a day without messages?

 

Absolutely. When today officially ends I'll make some additional points regarding messages.

If I get a message just before 6 and manage to post it then I have to give a possible counter message time to reply. Once I get home I'm about all evening so happy to keep the village open until satisfied things are fair.

OK I'm calling time on messages because if someone wishes to reply to one then it's too tight now.

Any viewings/message/s I get from the moment I post this will be acted on when I get home at 8.30ish.

 

I've asked Happy but the people who have the powers to grant access are all having a great time somewhere.

 

Are all the old day threads now merged in to one now? Going through the below, it's hard to understand what was daily chit chat and what was actual secret voting and stuff?

I thought I saw a few days ago that all the days were as separate threads.

 

Yeah I saw that, I think that was a bad idea whoever did it, would have been much better to have each day recorded as it was. Can it be undone?

 

Please can we have an up to date version of the rules posted on here, as I believe there were a couple of misunderstandings last time, Thank you :smile:

You of all people should know better. The first rule of Werewolf is you don't talk about Werewolf.

 

Therein lies the problem, no one does, so it can get very confusing

 

Surely until everyone has been assigned roles it's OK to talk about it, particularly first timers?

 

First timers don't be fooled, the game has started. Experienced players will already be starting to divert the attention away from themselves and will already start to play dumb or innocent. Next there will be lots of early needless accusations flying about.

For me as a novice mere villager it took a while to get use to.

Could I have a key to the cemetery?

 

As a novice villager last year, banging on about the day to day life of Phelps helped me survive for a long while before the Wolf ate me. The dog lived.

 

Just so you all know, I will be posting a new thread with updated rules for Werewolf XVI. Sit tight for that. It won't be very different to XV, but I'm thinking about an extra role or two that might make things interesting.
