I’ve used the word right on day 1, right on day 2 and left on day 3 in the final line of my message.

On day 1, the word right had 2 words after it. On day 2 zero words. Day 3 (left) had zero words after it.

On Monday, there will be 6 words following the word and the end of the sentence.

2006, as in my username.

I could share as your death will prove I’m the seer and I can just tell the village which message is mine on Monday.

 

You’re going to take out your seer because you can’t decide? Kill Norn and prove I’m good or evil and then you’re at least guaranteed one evil kill.

Sure, we will happily burn him alive if Norn is good, but we have a named evil player and an unchallenged player claiming to be the seer. The only way we learn who is right is lynch Norn first and then protect/lynch Mike based on the outcome.

The trouble is as soon as NI is lynched, if good, then the traitor names the kills tonight. The guardian can't be everywhere.
They do the same on Monday and we are crushed

 

Norn is a wolf and one of those Southgate themed messages is his, I'm sure of it.

 

What would be super confusing is if evil had 2 messages from day 1. The alpha and traitor get to message. The traitor (Mike) has posted every day, whilst the Alpha didn't post on day 1 (to create a load of confusion). All Mike's code proves is that he is a messanger, not that he is the seer. (Further suggests that he is the traitor not the Alpha as the Alpha wouldn't out themself).

Anyway, the result of that long conspiracy is that Mike is the traitor.

I wanted it to look like there wasn’t a code. I used a number code in the last game and thought it might cast suspicion on me by evil.

I did it based on the fact that given the facts at hand, lynching Norn seems the most likely to help us at this point and also, to reveal something valuable.

If Mike is lying about being the seer, it's weird either way TBH. Why out as a seer so early and then, why claim to be a seer so early. Mike's behaviour has me stumped full stop TBH.

 

They know the wolves, they just tell them the 3 evil to avoid, or name 3 or 4 good to attack

Right but to me the risk seems to be to lose Norn, who is losing the plot anyway, or losing Mike, who never had the plot, but could be the seer. Imagine all the ghosties in the cemetary laughing at us if we lynch our seer?

 

If Miked is actually the seer… why would the other two messages be trying to mirror each other?

The pace of this thread and some of the posts makes me think someone on my ignore list is posting in between because it's mental.

 

I’ve gone for Norn. I’m with moog and happy on this one.

Im not at all convinced by Miked’s play, but there hasnt been a convincing counter argument either.

 

Was on the fence a bit until this post. No way has he retrofitted a code like that, you can't just invent that pattern. It checks out.
