Were we not told there's a back up seer? I mean, there might not be anymore, but I thought there was.

 

I just can't shake the feeling today's message 3 is The Seer.

Definitely you next for the seer/lynching, unless Norn is good, in which case Mike needs to get his dying pants on.

I think the problem now is, if Mike is lynched, as the seer, then the traitor will come out and say who to kill tonight so the wolves don't eat another evil. They'll get lynched on monday, but by then we have lost another 4 good (plus Miked) - that takes the odds to 3 against 2 with a back up seer, if we have one.

If NI gets lynched, then Miked does the same - names two to die tonight, 2 on Monday, gets lynched on Monday and we are 3 v 2 on Tuesday !

It's fair to say we aren't in a great position.

This is too interesting so firing off a quick message now whilst supposed to be doing something else. If you're the Seer Mike, we're in danger of losing you, I'd reveal the code you were keeping back until Monday and then at least the guardian could protect you and ensure we get a viewing...

I'm sure you could come up with other way of signalling it was you on Mondays viewing.

 

That would be an odd response from a good player. Makes sense for an evil though.

In my eyes, NI is a wolf. That means there will only be one kill tonight, which the guardian might stop.

I’ve also never played in a game without a back up seer.

Surely the guardian's decision is simple:

Norn Bad - protect Mike (RIP Moog)
Norn Good - Protect Moog (RIP someone else)

 

Mike, I’m just curious why you want to keep the code secret until Monday at least? Surely if we vote norn and he is evil the guardian will definitely protect you tonight? You are presumably guaranteed to die on Monday anyway? You would still get one more view and wouldn’t need the code.

I want to vote for Norn but I’m not convinced.

Just realised I don’t need to save the code.

I have been using the word left and right in the final line, based on the side of the road they drive on, in the countries that have held the last word cups.

The number of words between the end of the final sentence and the word would have equalled 2006.

Hopefully that shows I’m not the traitor.

When you were named evil, there were two messages, one calling Moog evil and one good. That to me was a deliberate ploy to stop the village from knowing that I’d viewed you as evil, as killings moog wouldn’t reveal anything.

Sinatra is playing much more like your standard traitor.

Or alternatively it’s just taken this long to decipher some form of code for such flimsy “seer” messages.
