Depends which Sarr shows up, the one running straight past his man into the box or the one hesitating until he gets knocked over who then sits on his backside complaining?

The consistency from Sarr can be frustrating. He absolutely humiliated Targett on the opening day yet against Brighton he seemed hesitant to take anyone on. He's obviously brilliant but it's annoying when players with that pace and power refuse to use it, especially when the full back is isolated.

I think it was assumed that this hesitancy was down to Ivic early last season, but, while there was plenty to blame Ivic for, it seems as if this is something Sarr is prone to.

They played well against Salford Reds. No doubt they will see this as a great opportunity to take three points. We just need to show the same level of commitment, energy and skill on display against Villa and defensive solidity against Tottenham.

You can also look at it another way. This could be a great time to play Wolves. I think we agree that they are a better team than their results suggest, but they (and their new manager) will be terrified of losing a fourth game in a row and going even below Arsenal in the table. If we could score first they might well disintegrate in a blue funk.

Bad time to play them. They’ve played much better than their results suggest; I think they’re due a goal or four.

First goal all important in this game.

Go a goal down to this Wolves team that hasn’t scored and lost all 3 EPL games, then confidence will flood back to them as they are not a bad team and I think we’ll do well to get a point.

Go a goal up and we go on to win.

    2-0

I think getting more goals than them is key to winning this one.

Due to family, work etc I don't get to the Vic much, but I will be there Saturday. Last game I was at was the 0-3 Burnley pre-lockdown.

Wolves big favourites for the game. Hopefully we can upset the odds. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a draw.

Would take a point right now if offered.

Can we beat them, absolutely. However having seen them play their games, it’s amazing they have lost all 3. They were the much better team against Leicester, Spurs and Man Utd. They have been playing some great football, just hasn’t quite clicked yet. That’s my biggest worry, that it will click against us. If it does, we could get a hammering.

Obviously would love the win, but would be happy with a point. Norwich and Newcastle after this game however have to be wins, no excuses.

Think the key battle in this game will be in centre midfield. We are much more physical than them in that area. We need to bully Moutinho, and Neves. Wolves playing 343 which is what we got undone by against Brighton, so hopefully we’ve learnt our lesson from that game.

Really hope Cathcart and Masina are not our FB’s for this game.

Hard game to predict a result because it really could be anything. Our home form is great, Wolves are playing great football though.

Going to be positive and predict a 2-1 win for the Orns. However won’t be disappointed if we draw, won’t be surprised if lose.

No you couldn't be more wrong. It's all about conceding less than them.

Makes me wonder in what games this season we wouldn't take a pre-offered point.

We should be winning this game. Opposition on poor form, questionable manager, star players wanting out, we are at home. I couldn't give a toss if they've 'looked good' in their plucky defeats. They still lost.

If we want to stay up, anything less than a win in these games would be hugely disappointing.

A draw keeps us on track for our one point per game target that should be enough to ensure survival over the course of the season. 2-0 to the Golden boys who take an early lead when Kucka smashes the ball in straight from kick off while the others are busy taking the knee. COYH!

    Hello Watford fans,

I'm a Watford FC sympathizer from Berlin. My home club is Hertha Berlin. I was able to buy a ticket for the game against Wolverhampton. Now I have a problem. I am traveling with a backpack, but Watford FC support said I cannot return the backpack during the game. Luggage storage is only available in central London.
Do you have any ideas where I can store my backpack in Watford during the game?

    Many greetings from Berlin

    Julian

Newcastle, Norwich, Burnley, Palace, Brentford and Southampton, we are all better than and should be winning both home and away games against them. That’s 36 points up for grabs that we should be getting. Anything less than 30 points from these games and it’s embarrassing in my opinion.

Wolves, Villa, Leeds, Everton, Brighton, West Ham, Arsenal and Spurs are all winnable games if we’re on it and they aren’t, as well as getting Lady Luck to help us out. Their squad depth is extremely light in all these teams, a couple of long term injuries and they are all very average. Would also be happy with a point in both home and away games. Right now we picked up 3 points against Villa, looked awful against Brighton, and deserved a draw, but lost to Spurs. I would hope we can pick up around 16 points against these teams.

Leicester, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. A shock result is bound to happen. Wouldn’t expect more than 3 points against these teams this season. Again though, it’s possible to pick up more points if we play them at the right time, and they don’t take us seriously.

Man City. Just hope we can keep the score down to a 3-0 loss both home and away.

    Hello Julian.
There is a company called 'Stasher - Luggage' which seems to organise these things. They only take bookings online, so Google 'Stasher - luggage, Watford' and I think they can find the closest place for you to leave your backpack.
    Enjoy the game.

I've heard that too. However, there is no storage location in Watford. The closest is said to be 10 miles away. That's pretty far away. Is there no other possibility?

Edit: The selected location ist Watford. "We don’t have any Stashpoints here. Please try your search with another location"

How are you getting to Watford? If you’re getting the train from Euston there must be places near the train station you can store it?

I arrive in London Straford. Then my timetable shows me the following: Stratford to Tottenham Court Road ; Tottenham Court Road to Euston ; Euston to Watford Junction.

You meant Euston as an option. Then it is probably best to store the backpack there.

Unless anyone has a better idea that’s how I would do it. Looks like there are options near to the train station.

I assume by backpack you mean a large one? You should have no issue getting a normal size bag in and just putting it under your seat…

I mean something like the one in the picture. This backpack is surely too big for the stadium, isn't it?

I mean, we have a small stadium but it’s not that small!

I’d just take that with me. Can’t see you being stopped going in with it. And would easily tuck under your seat.

Are you staying in a hotel for the night Julian, and if it is not in Watford why not cancel your existing booking and stay in a Watford hotel instead? There are plenty of hotels within walking distance of the stadium and I'm sure you should be able to check in before the match and leave your bag there?

For real? In Germany, only bags in A4 format or smaller are allowed into the stadium. That would be really great if I can take it with me to the stadium. If you're really sure about that, then I'll do it. Thanks for the help and best regards!

    The dimensions of the backpack are 40cm x 25cm x 20cm.

I'm flying back to Berlin early on Sunday morning. A stay in a hotel is not worth it for me. It would be a big advantage if I could take the backpack with me to the stadium.

I took a bag of basically the exact same style/dimensions into the stadium for the Carabao Cup game the week before last - I'm not even sure they searched it or anything.

It contained a warmer shirt jacket than the shirt jacket I was already wearing.

It's only Wembley stadium that I've seen apply a strict bag policy for a UK football match (A4 size, minimum thickness).

You'll be fine at Vicarage Road. I've taken bags of shopping in with me sometimes :)

I rarely take a bag to a home game but other than a quick security check at the gate I can't see you having any issues getting in with that.
