I'm on the same page. Chack flys about in the first half whilst everyone else is still in warm-up mode. Then second half the team chirps up a bit but Chack and Baah start tiring. Can you imagine the carnage those 2 would cause if they came on together for the last 25 minutes..
Sadly, I am sure our loosely assembled squad of global mercenaries won't get this game and how much this derby means to the fans. The history here is too big for some of our characters. I am worried about the repercussions if we don't put in a shift here and the affect it could have on morale.
Are you referring to a batting innings? If so, if QPR score more than 11 it isn't a valid cricket score. Eg 0-14.
I wondered if you would make that claim. But the Aussies are just plain wrong, aren't they? And what's that ******** about 'sundries'?
Started ok, half decent spell without really threatening and then got worse as the half went on. However, didn’t concede and it looks perfect for a Baah half hour destruction show.
Bit better second half but not good overall . Least we looked more lively in attack but that wasn’t hard !
Uff what a frustrating afternoon. A poor first half in which even doing the basics was beyond some of our team, as usual a much better second half but which ultimately led to nothing. How many times did we waste promising positions? Time after time poor crosses, poor final balls, shocking corners. Baah (much better today) and Sissoko (no better today) especially guilty of awful crossing when well placed. Chak running down blind alleys galore. Lots of second half promise but very little created. Lucky QPR are so awful in front of goal. Terrible misses, plus DB saving us a few times too. Phew. Still, if you can't win don't lose, and it's another point banked. On we go.
Much much better 2nd half. All or bust substitutions! When Ince came off for Moussa it was a case of total gamble. Amazed it ended 0-0, enjoyed the 2nd half
Absolutely dreadful. Created almost nothing and QPR missed sitter after sitter and should probably have put us away by 3 or 4. Also yet another terrible starting team selection from Cleverley once again, resulting in yet another abysmal first half performance that leaves us playing catch up in the second in terms of our performance level.
Take that point, a better second half but if anything they nicked it, I know their striker scored midweek but you could tell it was the first time he's scored for them, useless
Another tepid start, we only started playing after 70 minutes which didn't give us enough time to score. Lucky to survive a few scares at the other end too. Main positive for me was Louza who finally seemed to recovered his form, confidence and motivation. Too good for this level if we can stay fit.
Worst home performance of the season. Bachmann and Louza only players of the starting XI to take credit from today. Subs had positive impact but we were very lucky to not have lost because QPR had better chances today and were wasteful. Larouci and Kayembé were dreadful while Sissoko was under par. Chakvetadze looked bad for most of the game. Bayo was not dire but not much more than that. Vata came in and out but think a player who needs minutes to show what he can do. Don't know what Dwomoh has to do to be given more minutes.
Ahhh First half second best, 2nd half looked positive and looked like we would score .Louza continues to impress , Bachman kept a clean sheet the 2nd half team with Baah and Ebosle probably about our best team. In reality we should probably think off it as another 2 points dropped , but our unbeaten at home run continues. QPR looked better than 2nd from bottom, but guess they can’t score which is why they are 2nd from bottom. On the bright side I will be watching the next game from Egypt
Jesus christ that was terrible. Thankfully as against Bristol City we played a side who couldn't score in a brothel, and our goal led a very charmed life. However, unlike during the week we had zero inspiration on the pitch to get a goal from (albeit Louza wasn't too far off). The first half was up there with our worst performances of the season. Kayembe and Andrews were particularly shocking. With QPR sitting so deep it was also the kind of game where our playing 343 works against us - we didn't need 3 CBs against their 1 terrible striker and 433 made more sense. Second half we only really looked a bit better because they got a bit more tired, so the game was stretched and we had more space, plus Baah gave us a bit of extra threat. It wasn't enough though and QPR defended resolutely. It also doesn't help when Chak continues to be incapable of taking a shot which isn't basically a back-pass to their keeper. Some credit to Bachmann who as against City made some very good saves. What a missed opportunity. In a way it's a relief we've been playing some poor sides recently as we've been limping of late yet still managed to pick up points. Against anyone decent playing this way we'd surely get smashed. Not sure what's going wrong but the fizzling out is a bit of a shame. Clevs has looked a bit ill this week and the players are playing like it's rubbed off on them perhaps.
