It's the bug battle fir 12th place at Vicarage Road in Saturday!!! Yay!!!

Two teams with nothing at all to play for in an end of season send off. The big questions are who are we going to be waving goodbye to?

Next years squad is going to be wafer thin at this rate if the owner sticks to his "non investment" strategy.

This seasons youngsters will become regulars. Something we all wanted right?

So let's enjoy Saturday, let's say goodbye to Imran Louza, a much maligned player previously who turned up this season reborn into the player he should've been 3 years ago.

He's been incredible in this deep playmaker position Tom set him up in and will be a big miss if as expected he does?move on.

Giorgi leaves having sparkled in matches, without sometimes having the end product to go with the amazing talent he has. What a player to watch in full flow though!

Ogbonna leaves having taken a nice pension pot booster. Rumoured lack of effort off the pitch too. 40k a week a poor return in the end for him.

Bayo leaves us - no doubt they'll show his 4 goals on the screens pre match which will be a head scratcher because for those 30 minutes he looked like a 30 goal a season player. He's got 2 since that day.

Rumoured Tom to Norwich rumours are out. You can't blame him for leaving behind this Gino created mess. He's learnt a lot from his time with us, no doubt if he goes to them he will probably show Gino what supporting a Head Coach will actually bring and make them more competitive next year.

As for Gino.....Well Udinese is for sale. If that deal is made there will be no more dodgy player trading to massage the books. No more loans to us either. The longer he holds out for the big price he wants to sell for the more harm he does to us and his deep pockets.

The last time we played them end of season some QPR fan idiot ran on the pitch causing them to get that late equaliser. This blew our Champions chance from that moment of madness.

I doubt anything even remotely as interesting will happen this Saturday!

He has already left, as he is a Udinese player, but I would not be surprised if we extended his loan to us for another season!!! But I sincerely hope that does not happen.

 

We lose this and it’s a possibility that we would have accrued the least amount of points since Boxing Day in the whole football league .

This is the game that may determine how far we have progressed - given our previous performance against them away. If we fail to win this Tom`s position will be untenable, and he is likely to ensure that Bayo features as `a last throw of the dice`.

It is not difficult to lay the blame for the lack of consistency of our quality,
on a combination of the Coach, and the underperforming `over waged` senior players in the group whose disciplinary record must be an inspiration to our youngsters.

 

Meaningless end of season matches played in the sunshine in a half empty stadium while those fans who have turned up chat amongst themselves are often cracking games. A home game against Port Vale comes to mind

I went to that game, what a crazy match! The Brizzle fans weren’t too happy with the 3 red cards their team received. The police brought out the dogs to line up in front of them.

I had a dream that we finished the season in a good run of form to end up in a decent position in Cleverley's first full season to make up for the disappointing run of late. Then I realized we only have one game left, and the best possible run is one win to finish with 59 points and 12th place. Ah well, it was a nice feeling while it lasted...

 

It was Luther's last game for us at the time and also last game for David James.

 

Luther was still around the next season wasn't he but couldn't get a game?

 

I pray this is the last time we ever have to witness Vakoun Bayo disgrace the shirt.

 

The trouble is we need his manure for Scott Tingley and his award winning pitch.

No one crimps a log out on the pitch like our Bayo!

 

I pray the last game was the last time we ever saw him.
We all know he will be back next season though.
