Unfortunately, Ibarbo has played already for Roma AC and WFC in official matches this season. This means he cannot play for a third team in season unless he goes, e.g., in South America or any country with different season period. From FIFA REGULATIONS on the Status and Transfer of Players 5.3.: Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs.
Good spot Sherlock. He won't be registered in our playing squad after January 31st so he may as well return to Roma.
He isn't Roma's player? He is Cagliari's I thought EDIT: It seems Roma have him on a 2 year loan, and loaned him to us for one of the two years
Last time we discussed him I said he'd been seen on the streets of Birmingham. Could've kept villa up.
A lot of tweets saying Ibarbo has signed for Athletico Nacional until the Summer. There is also a picture of him with the shirt so I imagine it's a done deal.
Thank goodness he didn't pick up an injury last night! A very bizarre decision to include him in yesterday's squad and play him if his transfer today has been confirmed
The camera zoomed in on him for a couple of seconds just after he came on. He had a sort of confused looking half smile like he wasn't sure he was really supposed to be on the pitch. Reminded me of when BBC News interviewed the guy who came for a job interview thinking he was a technology expert...
Amen. If only he'd realised the mistake he could have had some real fun with some sensational statements on the future of the technology sector. Bluetoothed dustbins, personal weather controlled from iphone, etc. May have jeopardised his chances of getting the job he wanted but what the hell.
But in all seriousness, what the hell was Flores doing? I can only assume he chooses and makes his subs based on the roll of a die, because there's no reasonable explanation for Ibarbo playing any part last night.
and that time when he broke down in London because he didn't know cars needed petrol .....that was very funny.
I've heard this tale but what did he think they ran on,chicken feed,4 pints of Scruttocks Old Orrigable-with bits of beak and twig left in?
Tim Vickery said on Talksport that he's away out on loan. Forget where it was. Might be Brazil. He was on H&J from 15:00 till 15:30
