Debit, was looking forward to him playing. If they need help up front I'm willing to stick on My Boots.
Yay! ...get learning you may need it tomorrow An Ibarbo goal In Ibarbo world Is not too drastic It's fantastic
Coming from Columbia as Ibabrbo does, I think we all know what he ll be bringing to Tommy Mooneys party.....nudge nudge wink wink. I suppose Arlauskis is our nearest player to hail from Russia so he ll be bringing the Vodka, no doubt, although I guess Ekstrand could pop in with a bottle of Absolut which is a decent drop. Sounds like a good bash, might pop along if I can.....certainly better than Hobans party, which will have no one but Watson and Munari there, probably discussing something dull and mundane like, why there arent gingers in Italy, and Tommys Mum and Dad popping downstairs every now and then just to check nobodys is spilling drinks on their new lounge carpet.
Nice interview here. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/150916-victor-ibarbo-on-signing-for-watford-fc-2692765.aspx? Ha ha, he thinks it is cold - and we are only in September! ;D
Leaving in Jan apparently http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...s__plans_and_is_expected_to_leave_in_January/
He worked hard enough by the sound of things & he does have ability, the official line is he's just not the type Flores wants. Go iBarbie!
When he came on he looked lively and would be a handful. I hope he lets these guys have a go against Newcastle in the cup before getting rid too quickly. Ibarbo, Obbi, berghuis all should start. I do not get this "Obbi is for the future - I thought he was 20. There are many players playing at that age and younger. We are talking about signing strikers when we could have an adequate back up on the bench. QSF out!!
I thought this too until earlier today - Dele Alli (Spurs) an Brendan Galloway (Everton) are the only two players under 20 who have played more than 1000 minutes so far this season. The next highest, I believe, was Joe Gomez on something like 600. Looks like we're not the only club struggling to give young players game time.
Tbh then surely better to give him half a year in the Championship. It will toughen him up, get him to know English football plus keep him fit. Having him around is only going to slow his development.
Shame , was looking forward to seeing him. Fast, unpredictable players are always good to watch . They either take your breathe away or make you laugh out loud.
I vaguely remember seeing somewhere that QSF wanted him around the squad so he could learn from our tactics and Troy/Ighalo
Agreed I'd very much liked to have seen more of Ibarbo but honestly you have to trust QSF's judgment after what he's done so far.
I heard he had an absolutely brilliant attitude that everyone warmed to, worked harder than anyone and only didn't make the team because he was ****.
As norn has said, he's older than the age specified. 20 is a fairly arbitrary cut-off, but it's interesting regardless. I can't imagine there were this few teenagers playing regularly six or seven years back.
