How dare you forget the name of this Watford legend!

Definitely one of the Watford players of all time.

    Park Chu Young.
Wasn't he supposed to be quite good!?

Looked him up on wiki - clearly not as he didn't do anything of note afterwards

He did well in Korea before moving to Monaco, had a decent enough (1 in 3) goals to mins ratio in his 3 seasons in France before moving to Arsenal. Then he flopped hard in England and on his loan spells. Went back to Korea and did alright there also. But yeah, his time in England was a disaster and nobody in a decent league would touch him after that.

I was sat behind a group of super excited Korean fans at a home game who'd come just to see him. We brought him on in about the 89th minute and he didn't touch the ball.

Well maybe a leopard really can change his spots after all (Gino). Then again, it will be interesting to see how much time VI is given when injuries kick in and our performances/results suffer as a result. I think VI has a good thing going here, and should, at the very least be given a full season then regardless of whether we start next season in this division the one above or god forbid the one below, his position can be evaluated. January's window could be just as interesting - table position pending how much room we could give to improve the squad.

I mean the idea is nice that we might keep a manager long term but no chance in reality .

Guess Ismael will take it !

Potentially a very nice pay off .

We should feel very short-changed that a goal every 3 minute striker in the French league did nothing for us!

Very impressed with Ismael so far. Well done!

Just by the by, and not a snide way of saying I’d still have preferred him, but I do keep an eye on Farioli too. Last Friday he had probably the biggest win of his fledging managerial career, winning 3-2 at PSG. His Nice side are unbeaten in five, but three of those draws.

So far I think we made a good choice as Head Coach and I freely admit my initial opposition was ill-judged, and wrong too. He’s playing a much nicer on the eye style of football than I feared and so far hasn’t upset either fans or players. I like him.

Interesting we’ve decided to have those talks so early. He must be impressing around the training ground as well as on the pitch because surely results alone isn’t the reason here. Happy to get behind someone for two/three seasons, may be our best bet out of this division now so I see why Gino & co may be going this route.

Good news eh. I’d read on here that he was expected to be fired during the next international break. Glad the club have had a change of heart.

I honestly didn't think he was worth mentioning as he played so little.

Oh God. I just remembered Samba Diakaté's tackle on his full debut on none other than Watford FC coach Dean Whitehead.
