Curiously, we didn't pay Bayat when we signed Bayo. However given he came from his brother's club and was paid on the deal to take him to Charleroi to then flip him, it's a fair assumption they paid him to sell him to us. Suspect he got some dosh this summer too - if we were a remotely normal club then clearly we wouldn't pay an agent to move a player between two Pozzo clubs but we've already done that with Bayat and Samir. Really glad we had him to get that tricky deal between Gino and Gino over the line.

There was a point in the match yesterday when our erstwhile player had a 1 v 1 in the area against an isolated defender and, yet again ,never took him on or at the least tried to shift the defenders body weight. It's all very well finishing well when your team is 5-2 up in the last minute when there is no pressure . Do it when the pressure is on then I will take a different opinion
