It's nonsense, none of the other stories he's "broken" have come true and if you do a reverse Google Search on his profile picture, it's a stock photo that appears when you search for "Young Businessman".

 

There is certainly a lot of weight on Troy's shoulders at the moment, but I wouldn't say that this is due to him being captain.
