Are there any promising looking strikers in Leagues one or two we could swoop in for? There is always a Watkins, Vardy or Toney floating around somewhere and I think another young addition to the squad is the way forward, personally, imho, coygb.
I did like the look of Miles Leaburn at Charlton before his injury. But he's not scored a league goal this season.
Think we have fallen behind Sheff Utd in the chase for him. Lead to believe we still like/want him but his contract situation means we aren’t alone in the chase anymore. And Sheff Utd can offer more money, better chance of PL football and the chance to join back up with an ex-teammate.
Peterborough are going to be losing a few this January I believe. Kyprianou, Jade-Jones and Poku all out of contract in the Summer, plus a few more I believe. Poku out injured is a big blow for them. All three mentioned would easily move up a division.

19 year-old CB doing well playing in League One, based nearby, and with only 6 months left on their contract? It wouldn't be a surprise if that was something we were considering. Reading fans rate him very highly. We play 3 at the back so we could do with the bodies and also probably offer him more playing time than a number of other options.
Excellent player . Be a few in for him with more power and money than us. Some say he could be in the Villa squad itself .
Honestly, I don’t know much about him, other than hearing that he’s tearing it up in League 1. A step up from L1 to Prem seems like quite a drastic change for any player, especially for a team that’s already doing well, and appears to have good squad depth. Championship would seem more logical, but as you say, there’s plenty of teams in this division alone that have more pulling power than us.
His favoured position is the same one that Chak and Vata currently play in for us - left-sided 10/left-sided forward, so don't know how he would fit in here right now anyway.
As for someone who would make more sense - for the right-sided 10 spot where we currently just have an inadequate Kayembe or Ince as back-up to Baah, as someone based in Norway what do you make of Marius Broholm? 19 year-old left footed attacker doing well at Rosenborg. Only 1 year left on his contract. Looks as if he'd fit that role in Clevs' system well and perhaps we could be a good stepping stone club for him?
He's quite a talent but has been outshone by Sverre Nypan. Both have been called up to the U21 and are both expected to be knocking on the door of the full squad next season. As for Broholm he's got plenty of talent and glides with the ball at his feet. He's definitely quicker than he looks but can get knocked off the ball a little easily at times. He should have much better stats. He cracked two wicked drives off the post in one game i saw. Some woeful finishing has crippled his assists too. I thought he'd signed a new contract but I will need to check that. But he won't come cheap that's if he goes. It looks Nypan is definitely off with Man Utd his preferred destination so the Northern bastards will have plenty of money.
