    Yes, though about 8 games later we were bottom half having just been hammered by Huddersfield with D1ckinson playing makeshift CH, after Taylor had been allowed to go to Sheff Wed.

    Cucho's goal was very good but I voted for Abdi's because it was Abdi and against Palace

    Yes if I remember correctly Ray Train dedicated the goal to his grandfather who has passed away that week!

    I think Abdi scored in that game too which was also his league debut, two great goals & the away end went nuts!

    The Main Stand....even before we'd built 'The New Stand'! We tended to score a lot of goals that season...we ended up being 3rd highest scorers in the league but only finished 6th, I think, well off promotion. One other memorable Currie hat-trick that season was in the 7-1 hammering of Grimsby, when a certain left back called Graham Taylor was taken to the cleaners by Stewart Scullion!
