On top of his most important career goal last season, it'd be a crying shame to let him go. However, if they kindly upped their offer to say 11.5 million quid, we'd have to grin and bear it!
It's very sad, but I suppose if we were to recieve an £8 bid for him we couldn't hold him back. Wait, we think there's a chance of a bid nearer £8m?
This is nonsense (for all the Tractor boys fans and hierarchy who visit this site to gauge Hornets fans reaction)! As the article says, he’s ex Man City, he’s a Watford star mid fielder with a 90+% pass accuracy. Wow. And he’s in his prime at 25. We cannot afford to lose him, but if this £8m bid materialises I think we would very reluctantly let him go..
Sorry, my bad. Was getting him confused with someone else. He's ace, £8m would be a snip, probably lots of competition though, should probably up it!
This is a player who was absolutely key to Cleverley's plans last season and will probably be a cornerstone of Pessaroni's too. I mean, I guess if he has the chance to progress his career at the Tractor Boys, I can't begrudge him that, for £8m+, but it was a privilege to have watched him whilst we had him. I suppose the nature of where we are now, is that former Man City players may come here for a bit, but they'll always move on sooner or later and we should make the most of it.
