A defender. Started out at Orient like Perkins. We must have a local scout there. Then went to Charlton and was not wanted. We have given him a home in our magical u23 team. The future is bright and yellow.

It was cruel of the club really. 'Nailed on starter at left back', 'destined for big things', 'probably the first pick on Ivic's teamsheet'... in hindsight those comments really left him no where to turn.
