Ticket App

Has anyone else had the email from WFC inviting you to "upload your vaccination status to the club's securely-held ticketing and stadium access records". Basically it involves ticking a box saying 'I haven't got Covid'. Am I missing something? On the face of it, it seems thoroughly pointless.

 

No. But the club don't bother emailing me about anything.

Yeah, it was weird. I’d bought 1 ticket for me and one for my Dad. If I tried to download both it wouldn’t allow it. I had to choose only mine for download, then - after taking me to the next page - it asked if I wanted to download the other ticket as well. Very odd system.

 

It asked me to upload my vaccination status as well. Only took a few seconds to upload the file that was available in the NHS app.

 

It doesn't seem to ask for any third-party verification so far as I can tell. Just relies on an individual's honesty when asked if they have covid and if they've been jabbed. Maybe I need to have another look

 

I think Wolves will be on. Although I won't be there. My marriage isn't strong enough to withstand me buggering off to Wolverhampton all day on Boxing Day!

 

For me it was right at the bottom and somewhat camouflaged by the colour scheme.

If it’s not there maybe they’re only requesting them on a sample basis.

It was either that, or that I hadn't uploaded my covid passport until this morning but its working now. West Ham is the first game I'm going to thia season so I'm 5 months late to the NFC party.

 

Uploaded mine yesterday, was a right pain as phone would not let me attach the covid pass I had downloaded no matter where it was saved. Ended up having to get it all on to the iPad and then upload from there.

 

I got the email, but other season ticket holders in my group did not. I think a fair few will skip the West Ham game on the 28th as its on Amazon Prime. I am reluctant to do much more than upload a lateral flow test result, as I gather it’s expected to take one before attendance anyway.

 

I think they sent out the email in phases so as not to overload the website system in one go.
Definitely they would prefer you to upload the NHS covid pass as that is what the law Currently is and they need to try and allow us in the stadium in reasonable time. Other clubs are doing the same thing I believe.

 

It was not clear to me how giving your details ahead of time made it any easier to get into the stadium?
I thought you still have to show your covid pass, then your ticket when attending?

 

The email seemed to suggest that if you do not fill in the form you will need to show a negative lateral flow test even if you have a covid pass which I found odd as that was not what was stated when covid passes were made mandatory. Other than that I saw nothing to suggest it will speed the process of getting into the ground up. Plus nothing about how they know if you have filled in the form or not when you get to the ground.

 

Clear as mud then!! It is going to be mayhem getting into the ground.

 

It clearly means if you have not got a covid vaccine or negative test your ticket wont work. I hear lie detector tests and random LFT will be in place at each turnstile from 2pm.

I still haven't worked out the reason or benefit of uploading my details before attending a game?
You still have to show your covid pass before entering the stadium so what is the point in preregistering any details?

My ticket is not appearing in my Apple Wallet - found it in the ‘expired’ section and not updated since 19/12. Anyone had a similar experience?

 

The whole ticketing system is a complete joke. Only my kids tickets for today appeared in my apple wallet. Go in to my account to try and download mine - that option is greyed out. Same under my wife’s account - greyed out. I managed to get the tickets by distributing them to myself - getting the email and downloading from there!!

Also last month I accidentally distributed my Spurs ticket to my stepson when I meant to send the Man City game because clicking on one ticket on one page doesn’t automatically carry the click through to the same game. Trying to recall that ticket is impossible - go to “Recall” and although it reckons I’ve sent 12 tickets to other people (I haven’t) only today’s game and the Norwich game on 21/1 are shown as options…..the Spurs game on 1/1 isn’t shown at all on the Recall page.

Does the club know how poor the UI is for this system???

 

In fact fk this - I give up. Now I can’t upload our COVID vaccination passes……..once upon a time sporting organisations used to actively encourage you to come to the game, now they make attending as difficult as possible and are effectively telling me to stay home and watch it on Amazon.

I might just do that - it’ll be warmer and I can drink throughout.
