Yes, there is. His name is Richard Johnson. Adam Johnson does not deserve that chant (yet) IMO. Next we'll be shouting 'shooooooooooooot' when he's in possession :dismay:

Yes when it was sung against Sheff Wed i thought it wa sa tad premature !

    I still prefer Muff...

General rule of thumb - 3 month loanees don't get their own songs IMO...

They do when they've scored 3 goals in 5 and a bit games...and have performed consistently well over those games aswell!

Richard Johnson is indeed a WFC legend as we all know, but does it matter if it's sung about Adam Johnson? Give me a break. Richard Johnson doesn't play for us anymore

The two twots sitting next to me were s.lagging Johnson off after just 5 minutes.

Just some sentimentalism mate. He'll be gone in 2 months time anyway, or end of the season in the best case scenario.

Most people sitting near me were singing two johnnos.

Hopefully that should appease one or two people.

I bet Adam doesn't indulge in as much South American 'produce' as the legendary Johnno!

I hope you clumped them Paddy :dismay:

AJ has been sensational for us...hopefully we can extend the loan deal, I think there will be a big dimension missing when his 3 months has finished.

He's got a great future ahead of him, having the confidence to run at defences like he does is a great asset to the team.

The chant is just a way of supporting the player playing in the Watford shirt.

I have been impressed with Johnson so far, he deserves to be appreciated, I think the two Johnos song is a better idea!

I hope Stewat Downing stays fit and Julio Arca comes back from injury soon or the old James Blunt look-a-like will want him back pretty soon.

Richard Johnson was a total carthorse with 3 decent shots in him per season.

I assume that's why Leeds were about to table a £1mil+ bid for him just B4 he was injured.

The words Carthorse and Johnson (Richard) should not be used in the same paragraph (let alone sentence).

The offer was far more than £1m, 3-4 times more actually, when Leedswere aecent premiership force also.

Richard Johnson was brilliant for us, 110% every game, decent passing range, and could bang the occasional cracker also.

You obviously weren't at Bristol City in '98, 2 cracking goals and a great performance from the man.

Yeah, and the Leeds management of this era have gone down in history for their sound judgment haven't they?

I was praying they'd take him off our hands.

Not as much as I was praying that Tottingham would sign Tommy Smith for the reported £7,000,000 in the summer of 2000. :]]

Johno is an utter legend. FACT.

Indeed, possibly his best performance for us. volley in off the bar and sporting a pair of dodgy coloured boots if I remember. Almost 10 years ago to the day he scored the opener against the scum as well. Legend. Carthorse my ar$e.

I spent many a Saturday night after the game in Area with Johnno - the man's capacity for drink and 'dandruff' were truly awesome.

I have to agree. Not sure how he went from also ran to legend without ever really proving himself.

From memory he scored three great goals, against Spurs, 'Boro & Wolves, and (as someone pointed out earlier) from 12 year with the club?

Blimey, some of you are easily pleased. How does Ken Charlery rank on the legends yard stick?

About as high as Roger Willis ...

Carlisle away, cracking long range strike.

Bristol City, 2 cracking long range strikes, one a stunning volley off the cross bar.

From the top of my head.

I take it all back. Six goals in 12 years, so his one goal every two years ratio was enough to elevate him.

Sureley that puts him at the same level as Jamie Moralee?
