Yeah. I moan about it on here but there are extremes. You've got people like I've highlighted who expect retail or even more than retail to get rid of their junk and then you get reasonable people looking for a fair price for used goods. Then there's the 3rd, slightly rarer category of people who just want stuff gone to a new home and either practically or actually give it away.

 

Yep so true. When I've seen anything I really want. such as the shed, I message them to tell them it'll have a lovely new home and will be looked after blah blah blah. Works every time.

 

I tell them I've got newborn twins and that they're helping a young family. Then I show up, meet my resale buyer at their property, take the item and hand it immediately over, in front of them to its new owner for a 100% profit.

 

'Years of misuse' raises all sorts of worrying possibilities....

 

It's certainly not the "usual way" to play the trumpet.
