My cousin was in the Royal Marines, in 2003 his unit in Baghdad were in Saddam's palace, which had a solid gold bog. My cousin said it was the best thing he'd ever taken a dump on.

Clearly never had a poo in a Japanese hotel. Solid gold is expensive, but not as practical as a robot toilet seat which warms your cheeks, plays a tune and washes your bumhole for you.

I think the detailed description explains that those are the only 2 tools you need to build the caravan from the flat-pack when it arrives.

He lives in Australia now, so I reckon he has to thoroughly check underneath the seat to make sure there aren't any venomous spiders lurking before he sits down.

    £6 each, or 12 for £80. Hmm I think I'll just take 11.

This takes the piss. These bars are 20-30 each, brand new. What goes through people's minds?

When the picture first half loaded on my screen my first thought was "what dodgy plumbing work!"

I'm guessing that a lot of stuff people are selling are things they paid over the odds for during the lockdowns, it's not an antique FFS.

  12. wfcmoog

There's certainly an element of that, but those bars have not retailed for a collective £90 in the recorded history of time. Even if they were unbranded Olympic sized bars, it would be a bit top heavy. This is just delusion.

I like the audacious way the person thinks anyone would swap a 6' bar for a 5', I reckon if someone did want to swap this person would only want to do it on their doorstep.

Edit: I did check, yes you can buy a new 6' bar for £26 online.

Well they are large. If they could include those beautiful flowers and compost too it's not such a bad deal.

I'm no expert, but doesn't this go up the foof? Don't know if any amount of sterilising makes it OK to buy used.

You've really ****ed your algorithm now, Facebook marketplace is a nightmare once you stumble into the wrong but

I searched for a second hand large wall mirror a few months ago, I still often get suggested listings but the sellers always seem to be young women in tight clothing or the odd man with a very visible banana shoved in his trousers.

I don't get this at all.

A collection of new and used football boots, totalling 15 pairs for a grand.

Even if the RRP for some of these boots were 100 quid, you can't achieve that as a seller with one pair in one size.

For this mishmash of boots I'd be laying 5-10 a pair. Tops.

I swear people live in a dream world. Screenshot_20241117_123024_eBay.jpg Screenshot_20241117_123041_eBay.jpg

Yes I believe all the runways in Santiago run in series rather than parallel due to this issue, to avoid one runway needing to be only accessible when the tide is out and other built on a 1 in 3 gradient.
The other issue is clothing given it's warm around Santiago (hot in the north where we aren't going, no time) and, well, a bit Chile in the far south.
