How on earth did Liverpool score three goals at Brentford yet fail to win?

We might have some idea of the answer to this when Brentford get another surprise result against Chelsea, the team that were top of the table before our game.

 

They may be losing, and they may not have won all season, but Jesus, they are looking better than us, the prospect of City again absolutely terrifies me right now! The depressing thing is even if we were looking half-decent this season, we'd be unlikely to stay up, as it stands I'd take 19th place and not being dead and buried by April

 

Southampton winning atm, don't think they'll be right down there at the end of the season, but...we need someone to finish above, Norwich, Burnley (perhaps), struggling to think of anyone else

Thought Wolves were going down this season? Disappointing.

 

Surely if we were looking half-decent we'd have more points and therefore be looking like we have a good chance of staying up?

The frustrating thing is, there is at least a competitive team in there, we've seen it at least in glimpses in all the games Leeds apart (even against Liverpool, albeit only when being 4-0 down), but we're not seeing it nearly enough. I'm not sure of the reasons for this, as it's overly simplistic to say that Xisco being in charge for all the games but one is the only culprit.

 

I wonder if Brentford will bend over and take it from Chelski just as we did earlier

 

Oi, I resent that!

 

Wolves coming back from 2 down with 11 minutes to go to win 2-3, more to do with luck than anything but they look like reclaiming their spot in the top half this season.

 

Watching Brentford throw everything at Chelsea just underlines what an embarrassment some of our gutless players are.

They're not exactly playing badly tbf, just not getting points, but if they continue how they are, I'm sure they'll do alright

 

People always say this about supposedly ‘established’ PL teams but in the end they are relegated. We can all name a long list of cases.

 

Admittedly, I have only watched them against Everton but they looked rancid in that game.
