This is fair-we spent the pre match with two long standing Palace season ticket holders one of whom is also a long standing business acquaintance. They were both scathing about his tactics and general approach to both substitutions and his first half game plan-they point to Zaha being revitalised under PV wheras he declined so much under RH.

One of them said he would not have renewed for this season if RH did not "retire"-he was so sick of the "football" served up. He said he appreciated he kept them up but it was so negative-hence his stance.

This weekend has gone our way. The Leeds result was predictable but I didn't have Burnley losing and I certainly didn't have us winning.

If (and it's a massive IF, despite your assertions about how bad you are) we follow this up with a win on Weds, then we should be almost there.

Imagine not being capable of making the blatantly obvious connection between Hodgson's behaviour on Saturday and the work enviromment he experienced at WFC. If you dont see the connection thats not your fault and if you can't see it then it's understandable that you would act as if it's not there.

As with Raneiri, Hodgson's failure is a symptom of the extreme structural problems we have at the club. We had 3 managers this season and they all failed. That's a structural problem. Imagine having Scott Duxbury as your boss. Imagine Duxbury pretending to know as much about football as u do. Imagine trying to manage the dressing room at our train wreck of a club.

Hodgson humiliated our club on Saturday. In my opinion it was the right thing to do. We deserve to be humiliated. The club has been raped financially, the dressing room is unmanageable and the two fat cats at the top of the club don't give an F. All they care about is how deep they can get their snouts in the trough.

Roy showed his disdain for WFC cerca 2022. Personally, I have the same disdain for what the club has become as he does. Im sure Claudio Ranieri feels exactly the same way.

At least we won’t have the indignity of being their first away win since August. Thanks Leicester!

How many goals does Harry Kane score from corners and how accurate is his crossing?

Hodgson literally took Fulham to a Europa league final. Im not saying he's an elite manager but I am saying he's competent and has massively underachieved at Watford due to the horrific structure around him and the work environment he had at the club. If we had started the season with Guardiola Tuchal Conte or Klopp they would all have resigned within weeks when they found out how the club is run.

It would never happen but it would be really interestimg to see if Potter or Howe could manage in the Pozzbury train wreck. Personally, I doubt either manager could do a job in the disaster zone WFC has become.

Roy's humiliation of the club is a symptom of what is happening at the club, not the cause.

Arsenal have 3 away games inc spurs on Thursday. If they lose at spurs, my money would be on spurs who’s last game is against Norwich.

None and pretty poor, not sure what your point is? But mine is, putting your top striker on corners meaning they’re not in the box for an attacking play is bizarre. Pretty much sums up old Roy. Clueless. In fact despite a long career, I’d call it pretty much underwhelming at the top level.

I think at Palace with Hodgson it was the classic case of if they won particularly against Brighton or a big team they weren’t that fussed about the style of football but draw or lose and the knives were out .

Of course they had Tony Pulis , Neil Warnock and Big Sam before so they were probably used to negative dour results at all cost football .

There is no "if" about it. You will win. Probably score a goal we shockingly defend against within the first ten or so minutes, then we will just sit back while Roy falls asleep on the bench and makes no subs.

I can see our old guard getting on the scoresheet. Doucore' and Richarlison getting a brace. Leeds are probably fave to go down after today. You just need to hold your nerve in the games after Wednesday.

The two things are not mutually exclusive.

Roy being an utter **** who has disgraced the fans of the club he is paid by and Gino creating an absolute farce of an environment for a coach to work in.

Ultimately though, of the two, it's Gino that trumps Roy. Roy was a **** because Gino allowed him to be. Roy has shown contempt for fans from the off. There's been ample warning of yesterday's final insult.

Gino has dithered because he's made himself into a parody of a club owner. He sacks managers when nobody expects it and then, when one does all but **** in his face, he's too timid to act.

They're both ****s. Both of them.

That was the very short spell when Ranieri had us playing well, only lasted about five games and wasn’t something we’d done either before or since then. That was a long time ago and we’ve been utterly hopeless since, not a chance of any repeat of that or even close.

Following the market valuation of Chelsea at £2.5 bn, I'd say that would put Man United around the £4 bn mark which would mean their £500m debt is about 12.5% of the value of the club and fans are rightly complaining about this.

Because of our debt WFC has no value but without the debt I'd value the club at between £10m amd £20m. Even if the club was worth £20m our debt would be 7.5 times the value of the club. 750% compared to Man United's 12.5% just think about that for a minute.

As a % of the value of our club our debt is 60 times higher than Man United's. Man United have been the victims of a leveraged buyout where the club was bought with debt transfered to the club, yet we are 60 times worse off than Man United. Charlatans is a very polite way of putting it.

How did you come to the £10-20m valuation for our club? Seems too low to me. Barnsley was valued at that 5 years ago as a League 1 - Championship yo yo club.

Really you're making a case to suggest our lenders are hopelessly negligent.

Matej Vydra ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament at Watford (GW35). He not only completed 90 minutes (replaced in time added-on) but the striker provided the assist for Josh Brownhill to score the winner.

Sad news for Vydra. Done his ACL and is out of contract. I think we should sign him.

That is genuinely sad for him and us. Would have liked him back here next season but he may never return the same player.
I just have this nagging feeling we let him go too soon.

WFC is worth nothing due to the debt. No one would buy a small town club with £150m debt. Without the debt I cant see us being worth more than £10-20m. Thats just my opinion. Either way the debt to value ratio is terrifying for anyone who cares about WFC, especially when part of the debt is secured against the stadium.

Im going to write the next part in capitals cos it's so scary:

I DONT BELIEVE OUR CLUB'S FINANCIAL SITUATION IS DUE TO NEGLIGENCE. I BELIEVE IT'S PART OF A PLANNED STRATEGY TO 'CREATE' AND EXTRACT MONEY FROM THE CLUB THAT IT HASN'T ACTUALLY GENERATED ITSELF

    a19tgg First Team

If the club has £150m of debt then it would cost £150m to buy it, unless any of the lenders were happy to write the debt off, which would make them mad to do so.

If the debt was cleared the club would still be worth significantly more than £10/£20m.

With the knowing consent of the non-exec director, our lenders who presumably do due diligence and the auditors of the club accounts?

My negligence point was about the lenders. Why would they lend good money after bad?

Doubt anyone will go near him until he's fit again now. Hopefully Burnley will oversee his rehab and let him train with them until he's in a position to be back playing. Awful timing for him.

Not sure about that. The Everton win was sandwiched between home defeats to Liverpool (0-5) and Southampton (0-1). Even though it was delicious, at the time it struck me as a bit of a freak result with a late purple patch as Everton collapsed.

Liverpool was Ranieri’s first game, in the same sequence we narrowly and unluckily lost to Arsenal and beat Utd 4-1. I think any run of five games this season that includes two wins where we scored 9 goals, is comfortably going to be the best we’ve played.
