I would like a £ for every thread on the subject of Lee Cook since he moved to QPR. For a former player to generate so much interest, both positive and negative, really does amaze me and it clearly shows that he has got under some peoples skin. To put this subject to bed 'once and for all' (fat chance), lets put it to the vote.
i dont think there is any need for him here, with smith, bouazza, young, mcnamee, and maybe jarett all able to play on the left wing, i would rather see the money go elsewhere
I would have liked to see another option on the poll, to express my hatred of the fat kebab eating judas bottler.
According to the Times today, Man Utd want him along with a host of other Premiership clubs, if i remember correctly didnt we get a sell on fee clause as part of the tribunal decison thing? could be an unexpected boost for the finances?
I agree, i can't believe 2 people would have him back! I'm not just bitter about the way he treated it us, I just don't think he'd add anything...much rather have Jarvis (if that rumour is true)
Good fizzy pop player (because he drinks so much of it to wash all those kebabs down) not good enough for the prem.
as i have said before, getting tommy smith back was worse enough, kebab boy would be a nightmare. i hope he does go to someone for a lot of cash because we have a sell on clause from the tribunial i believe
Grow up mate, I can be bitter about many things but a professional footballer who takes a pay cut to join the club he supported as a kid is not one of them. The mistake Lee made was being quoted as saying "Leaving is not an option" just B4 he left, probably more down to his agent than him. 99% of professional footballers are mercenaries.
I voted for the yes option, but I don't necessarily think we should get him back. I voted yes because if he did come back I wouldn't get angry but just get behind him. At the end of the day, as Budfrog pointed out, they are all just mercenaries.
The mistake Lee made was being quoted as saying "Leaving is not an option" just B4 he left, probably more down to his agent than him. 99% of professional footballers are mercenaries. Lee's 'mistake' was hurtful to the club that gave him his opportunity in pro football! This club gave him a chance and paid his wages for three years only to be shafted by him cowardly! If he had come out and said "i'm considering my options, nothing is definate yet" then i'd have no problem with him joining any club (apart from lootown)! He deserves all the stick he gets! When I lived in St.Albans I use to venture into Watford pretty much every friday and saturday night, always saw fatboy out on the lash after a game and he was never with any of the players...he always use to slate the club down to the ground and make out he was too good for us! Class A idiot!
Or fans who can see further than their prejudice ..... Why not have a pop at Tommy Smith again Jobbie, gone a bit quiet on that front. While your about it have a moan about David Connolly 8)
