Just tennis friction with the shaft and balls then ?
I'd just innocently wondered if you got any blisters on your toes from your tennis pumps ?
What did you think I thought you meant ?

Looks like he has blown the match completely from 2 sets up .

Credit to Medvedev though if he completes the comeback .

I didn't see the last two sets but Felix began missing big on his forehand which can be a weakness.

I'm not convinced Medivet is fit, hamstring strapping on his right leg.

    Barty looking very smooth.

Easy straightforward win - first Australian to reach a final at home in 42 years .

Faces Danielle Collins in the final.

Also an impressive victory in straight sets .

    Rafa in four.
Medivet yet to lose a point on serve.

    Comfortable win for both ?

Certainly didn’t look like that 5 setter a couple of days ago took much out of Medvedev .

He will want revenge over Rafa for the 2019 US Open.

Not at all for DM,but for a poor shot in the tie break Tsitsi could have been two sets up but put an off forehand into the strike zone of Med backhand and lost his mini break.

Tsitsi ran out of steam in the fifth, unsurprisingly as this was his first tournament since elbow surgery.

He's rediscovered his width and with a little more fortune,he may have won.

    Vamos Rafa!

    Barty wins in 2.

Collins lost it from being 5-1 up in the 2nd set.

Guess that is what pressure and nerves does too you against the home favourite.

We've all done it, although not in a major final for most!

Nadal has some work to do - dominated in the first set .

But if anyone can bounce back it’s Rafa.

The fans were on the most part an absolute disgrace. Booing a player because he isn’t the balding, imaginary hair pushing weirdo that is Nadal.

I thought football fans were the weirdest but this Australian Rafa mob with their strange signs, praying and in one case attempting to psychically change the course of the game were absolutely next level.

Fair play to Rafa but I’ve never particularly liked him. Obviously, he’s won 21 Grand Slams. But I can handle my bean tin labels being placed in any direction in the cupboard, so who’s the real winner?

Missed it all bar the first four games as we had an NPL match in Easten, Norfolk.
Just watching the highlights now and truly remarkable achievement from Rafa.
Very rude from the crowd. As much as I don't care for Medvedev, that's hugely disrespectful.

A certain irony Nadal winning. Djokovic deciding not to have the jab, not allowed to play, so not getting to 21 slams and the record. So Nadal takes the record instead .

I wonder if this turn of events makes Djokovic decide to have the jab.

As for the crowds, they have been shamefully disrespectful for a good few years, usually when Nadal and Federer play the top guys at the business end of major tournaments. Happened at Wimbledon as well I recall in the long final between Djokovic and Federer and I loved it when Djokovic won. It's not like it used to be, when the crowd had more respect for both players.

I do find extreme fanaticism odd in tennis.
RF has the or had the stranglehold on this, almost genuflection.
Norrie beats Humbert and Aslan somehow manages to lose to Griekspor in Rotterdam.

Good match Tsitsi v Davidovich Fokina.
    Tsitsi in three.

Decent win for Murray against Bublik, although Bublik had won a final the week before and rarely do players do well the next tournament.
He plays Felix next and Norrie beats Khachanov.

Murray out 4&4 to Felix AA.
Tsitsi to play Di Minaur and Musetti plays the Czech qualifier Lechka who continued his good run by beating Van De Zandschlup.

Felix too good for Norrie, who really has done incredibly well to be a top 20 player with a very limited game.
Tsitsi plays Lechka having defeated ADM in an absorbing contest.
    Rublev plays FAA tonight.

Tsitsi in three against the impressive Lechka.
Rublev and FAA slugging it out to play him.
Lord that our team had their energy levels.

    Wow.
I didn't think I'd see as bad a performance as Watford put in but Tsitsipas may have topped it!
Virtually no first serves and weak and poorly placed seconds.
    Couldn't return, couldn't approach, couldn't trade.
FAA served well but not sure Tsitsipas would have beaten his way out of a paper bag today.

    He lost two games!
    Won the final too.
    Rublev wins in Marseille.
Norrie plays 'Tiny' Riley Opelka in the Delray Beach final tonight.
