Maybe. I have had no reason to suspect WT except that he has been quiet and now that he is named in what i believe would be the wolfs message.

The wolf could easily have names him in his message because he has been quiet, knowing that this would put him under the spot light.

I've just had a look back and it doesn't look like WT voted on day one and voted for Cassetti last night, being the 12th of 18 votes. So voting towards the end when its less noticeable. That is the only thing that i can see that they have done, that we could look at as suspicious.

Strange. I agree that Harrow, Cthulu and Burnsy are likely good, and that the seer likely hasn't spotted a tinker (if there even is one).

But disagree with the end part. I don't think an inexperienced wolf would name another wolf in their messages on day 3 (it's a very high risk strategy). We also don't know that the alpha knows who any of the other wolves are.

A far more obvious explanation is that the wolf named someone random as good, knowing that we'd suspect them,

Is he an experienced player? I had no idea what the code was, so not the best move. Whether it’s naivety or something more malicious I’m not too sure yet.

 

I don't know. I haven't joined the last few games.

Anyone prepared to say they think the first message is the Seer?

 

Even though it's not great news for me, I think the first message is the wolf.

 

I've not totally discounted the possibility that the Seer landed on the Tinker, whilst highly unlikely I've definitely seen stranger things happen in Werewolf before.

 

Two players named good, we think we know which set of messages are highly likely to be the wolf. I don't believe a wolf would name the other wolf they know as good as an elaborate bluff, far more likely they've named someone they think is good/don't know status.

We don't gain anything from lynching one of the two named players today in my view.

Suggest we start throwing some mud around based on low/non committal posters over the last couple of days.

 

Agreed both could be good as that would be a very bold double bluff from the Wolf.

Furthermore, on the very rare chance there is a tinker in play and it was CB, Harrow Orn being named as good as soon as some suspicions aroused could also have been a bluff yesterday.

I'd like to throw the first mud at Sinatra. His posts seem laden with misdirection under the guise of confusion.

 

Yesterday SLB voted for Harrow and Moog voted for me.

Probably doesn't mean anything, but just thought I'd stick it out there as they went against the common vote.

 

Has BRLR commented today? Was also very quiet yesterday (after a fairly active, punchy 1st day).

 

Skyla is a Newbie (I think) like me - but this is two occasions where she has posted something confusing. On purpose potentially?

 

My gut feeling after the first message yesterday was that Harrow was the alpha, knew he was likely to get viewed by the Seer and so named himself as good - a ballsy move but what I would have done in his situation if the wolf. He'd made comments about hoping he wasn't the tinker and expecting to be named in the afternoon message.

But then the second message came in and CB was falsely called evil. The chances of the Seer doing that are so low that I think we have to go with the high probability that the pirate messages are the Seer...

But Otter's comments to Harrow and Asdon on the first day are still bugging me. Would've viewed Ashdon personally.

 

I’m fairly certain (although not totally) that SLB is good - but he’s fairly experienced at this game so I did find the story about ‘accidentally’ voting for Harrow strange. Voting is a simple process and pretty hard to get wrong - even more so when Harrow and CB’s names weren’t next to each other in the list.

I’m minded to believe it was accidental but still an odd thing to do.

 

And to add to this - he was close to being lynched on Day 1.

Now there's an understatement!

 

It wasn't a slip of the finger - I'd over thought it and after clicking Harrow suddenly realised my logic didn't stack up but couldn't change it so commented immediately. If it was going to be close, would've asked Opti if I could switch vote but there was no point.

To be fair, I'm playing this game differently to how I normally do. I'm usually quite quiet as I don't want to get killed. But that's because in most games I've played, you know what roles are in them so I enjoy the challenge of logic and deduction. In this one, we don't have a clue - don't even know how many wolves so it makes working anything out nigh on impossible. I've made the point a couple of times that it's a lottery so there's little point quietly trying to work things out so quite happy to be vocal, get noticed and see what happens.

Clearly a wolf and the guardian also thought I'm good!

 

Okay - but I still can’t figure out why when the numbers were already overwhelming, you went out on your own tangent?

Again, I’m minded to think it was an innocent move and the above is a true account. But would be remiss not to wonder why!

 

If I was the Seer, and had genuinely viewed CB as the tinker, then why wouldn't you view Harrow today?

Otter sent him a suspicious message on the first day. The wolf then named him as Good to try and give him a fighting chance of survival.

To pick a random player over that makes no sense.

So either, an unhelpful (and unlucky seer) or far more likely the wolf.

 

I’d still like to hear more from BRLR today. He piqued my suspicion on Day 1 - and has been missing since.

 

BRLR, TomWatfordFC and Ashdon have all been pretty quiet. A few others haven't been as active, but these three stick out.

OK so lets face it, at the moment we have nothing substantial, or at least not enough to all lynch one particular person.

For me
Cthulhu, Harrow seem good, therefore based on messages so is Burney
Just on gut feel I would say that SLB is good, otherwise the wolves got very unlucky last night. If the guardian wasn't there then they would have killed another of their own.

Going through the list of those of us still here, the two that i can't make my mind up on is EB and Ashton, neither have said anything that screams evil, but neither are standing out as good either.

As i have nothing else to go on, i'll probably take a random punt on one of those guys.
