  2. It means Championship next year. They've given up and accepted the inevitable.

That makes sense, but sad they have accepted relegation.

I doubt this is the club. Blame Nath and his gang for hacking the system like Elliot Alderson.

I paid for last years season ticket by direct debit (why not) it didn't cost anymore, the instruction received this week from the club said people who paid by this way didn't need to do anything they would be automatically renewed, I have just had a look at my account and notice there is a credit of £88 sitting on it, this I find odd why wasn't it used last season, if I pay be card this time and take the credit I wonder if I will end up being charged twice? any views?

Once the card payment goes through surely you can cancel the direct debit so they can't charge you twice?

Well quite - that would be a game v your average Championship side there.

2 poor sides not playing well but one being clinical enough.

Very fitting that in the week they start the season ticket renewals the team put in a performance like that.

Season ticket value for money - £31.38 per goal, £62.57 per point and £219 per win.

    Have I renewed? Yes.

The deadline has passed and I haven't renewed. I nearly did despite the two shocking performances against Leeds and Brentford in the renewal window. I feel strangely liberated, it's like a weight lifted off my shoulders!

Will they release the renewal %?

I have renewed ours but it wasn't a given I would.

I’ve renewed but I wouldn’t have done had we stayed up.

This season has been a car crash but Championship football gives something to look forward to next season.

I'll be renewing also! You didn't choose Watford, Watford choose you. Although it's bad at the moment, hopefully, next season will be better!

I understand why people are not renewing. It's been a bit a of a mess for a few years now and the way we do things as a club is not how many would like to us run. However, I've been going since 1979 and although there have been some tough times, that to be honest you expect supporting a club like Watford, we do get some fantastic moments/seasons and I don't want to miss out on those. Getting promoted in 81/82, getting to the cup final in 84 and qualifying for Europe. Many other promotions, the Zola season if even it ultimately ended in failure and many one off games that have given me some fantastic memories and although things look a little bleak this season, I'm sure there will be other great memories to come which is why I go to football. I still love my club no matter who the owners, players, managers are. I'll still be here when they've all gone.

I think there will be quite a dip in attendances. - plus lack of away fans too.

Maybe pick up if we do well though.

They will be most hurt by the executive boxes not being sold and people dining in the club lounges.

No one is going to pay thousands to take clients to Wigan at home for example.

If you could all spread the negativity a little further than this forum and reduce season ticket sales by half, then when I come up once or twice a season I'll be able to get decent seats. Thanks.

I have received an email from the club regarding direct debit notice for next season's season ticket.

This is despite numerous replies declining to be included.

Does anyone read anything at WFC?

I have replied in my now usual short manner pointing out the above and the fact that Pozzo has ignored all of my previous emails.

I shall cancel the DD at the bank just in case.

Surely you just don't buy a ticket for next season - was it was not the first payment for that one?

Or have you got one but not paying by direct debit?

Mind you could be some junior staff member sending out this to anyone on the database!

My niece has been able to buy the seat next to her dad . It was until this season one a friend of ours had but sadly deceased last year. When her dad got it under the friends and family preference, he was in a very large queue on that Monday (16 May), with others also getting season tickets for family members on the waiting list.

The ticket office implied a high number of renewals and not everyone on the waiting list would be able to get one for 22/23.

Maybe they were still including everyone from last season who had not cancelled their direct debits, but did not ask to renew?

Not sure how many ST holders we had for last season but I am sure the club said there had been 12,000 renewals for this coming season.

I rang up a few weeks ago as part of the "ask the family" thing to get the wife one and it was fine. I got the impression that had I said I had additional 4 wives and 10 children that I also wanted them for, that would have been fine too.

It was a DD payment plan starting on July 1.

I have asked for acknowledgement from the club but nothing as yet.

I suspect you're correct that it is the office cat typing my email whilst attempting to watch Tom and Jerry.

Give up my season ticket a 4 or 5 aeasons ago due to moving away to study, been on the waiting list a couple of years now. I said I wouldn't bother getting one a few weeks ago as I felt too much discontent with the club. But have just been on the phone to the ticket office and I’ve been told they will contact me and let me know if I have been succesful. I thought it would have been easy to get off the waiting list with so many unhappy fans.
