Watford FC is pleased to offer its loyal Season Ticket holders the chance to renew for 2022/23 at prices that represent a saving of at least seven per cent.

"Our decision reflects the increasingly uncertain economic climate for everyone," said Hornets' Chairman & CEO Scott Duxbury.

"It's been a tough time for people and we are keen the club should acknowledge this."

This 'Early Renewal Offer' will be available between Wednesday April 6 and Sunday April 17 inclusive to the club's whole estate of Season Ticket holders.

The usual wide range of payment options (including the 12-month rolling Direct Debit introduced this time last year) will continue to be available to all renewers.

After the 'Early Renewal Offer' ends, Standard Renewal Prices - unchanged from season 2021/22 - will be available between Tuesday April 19 and Saturday April 30 inclusive.

Renewals will then be suspended with further information made available once the current campaign concludes.

Added Duxbury: "There's only one more game to be played before Season Ticket Renewals begin, so we're hoping supporters will act swiftly and then join Roy, Ray and the players for what's going to be a massive run of matches in April and May.

"We'd like to thank everyone for their continued support this season and hope you'll be keen to take us up on our renewal offer before giving your fullest possible backing towards our push to retain Premier League status."

Further detailed Renewal information, including a set of FAQs, will be published nearer to the April 6 on-sale date.

I wasn’t going to renew, but a 7% discount and an opportunity to reduce TVOR’s chances of ever getting off the waiting list have swung me.

So Duxbury speaks! And convinces everyone with a 7% discount. Classic Scott. What a guy.

My main motivation for renewing is to spite VOR. Probably not the best reason :)

£402 for 23 games is great value at £17.50 a game.

I'm gonna renew but leave them empty. Worth it to make sure TVOR doesn't get it.

Can’t knock the club at the prices. It’s brilliant value for Premier League football next season.

I’ve got a season ticket that hasn’t been used for the last 12 years.

I only contact the TO to say I won’t make it when we’re playing somebody crap so glory hunters won’t get in.

    Sorry TVOR.

Fair play, didn't have to do this. And I didn't expect it, with the after effects of Covid, the potential revenue drop next year, and the rising prices of everything else.

A welcome decision, no doubt. I wonder how much data analysis has gone into drawing up the prices? Have the club noted the number of no-shows and fear a low renewal rate?

For one reason and another I've managed to make it to so few games this season it makes no financial sense to renew, even at these prices. I can see next season being just as challenging because the pressures of family and work make it difficult to commit. A tricky one for the club to get right but they have made it as transparent as they possibly can.

Ditto. I’ll go to the odd game but clearly not when it crashes with an Arsenal home game.

Unlike most of the so-called BWO, I don’t have a season ticket. I have the courage to back up my words with action.

I don’t fold as soon as Scott says ‘by Grabthar’s hammer, what a savings’.

The smallest amount of credit due here, good self-awareness, given the last two seasons we've had to endure at home, a decrease is probably deserved but doesn't mean they'd do it so fair play nonetheless.

Since 1st January 2020, we've seen SIX Premier League home wins out of the last 23.

I’m good, thanks, but hope those who do renew enjoy another season where absolutely nothing changes.

Anyone do the 75 mile season ticket? How does it work, I’m assuming you get to go to a certain amount of games for that price? Do you have to pre pick the ones you are going to?

Edit - just looked it up.

The new 75 mile season ticket: Just pick the home games you'd prefer to be at least 75 miles away from and enjoy a long walk instead!

I've come to see renewing our season tickets the same as paying my tax bill - I don't like doing it but I've got no choice.

Renewed as well. I'm just a glutton for punishment and will probably carry on going until I draw my last breath. My son has the bug now. He was offered the chance to go and watch Arsenal at the weekend with his Grandad but chose to watch us instead! Muppet
