We're now at the point where one of our most important players is a 19 year old who had only played a handful of senior games before this season.
I wanted him to get more game time as well, but his contributions from the bench recently have not been great. He seems to have lost some ball control, hence not retaining the ball and going on those runs we have seen earlier in the season.
Have to agree. He’ll be a good player but this is his first season playing semi frequent pro football (I think) and it shows.
Yes he's been hit and miss, in and out. To be expected in his first full season. I think he's a massive talent though and will get a lot more game time next season.
There's a good player there, hopefully he now starts every game between now and the end of the season.
I thought he looked better at #10 than Giorgi did. When Vata moved back to the left I thought they both had less influence.
Thought he might have been a bit frustrated at lack of chances for a while but guess no . Maybe that was more the fans !
Yes it was nonsense. Popular player doesn't get picked = hyper fans come to the conclusion "Clevz hates Rocco". TC rates him very highly as do the club. He's a young lad, form has been up and down and the illness he had mid season seemed to knock him for 6. A solid pre season will help him, and I suspect he will play a very large part next season. He will end up being a £20m + player.
The rumour in the Autumn was that he was a bit big-headed having come from Celtic. I believe Robbo put a pin in that and he flourished from there.
I definitely was somehow not previously aware that Rocco's father is a former Albania international who sought asylum in France and represented Celtic for several years, becoming the first Albanian to win an honour in a major (sic, tee hee) European country with their capture of the 1995 Scottish FA Cup.
