It's really not difficult though! All the best chants are up tempo, simple tune, simple lyrics. Best one by far of the Pozzo era was the Quique Sanchez Flores one that we nicked off Atletico. This one is crap for the same reason the "Deeney's a legend forevermore" one was - too long, too monotone, doesn't fit the original song.
'We've got Super Nigel Pearson, he knows exactly what we need, Cathcart at the back, Deeney in attack, this'll keep us in the Premier League!' is the worst for me, not because the words didn't fit the song, and it made sense semantically, unfortunately Cathcart and Deeney were just way past it by that stage!
He will have to if he's made a regular substitute, but hopefully he'll prove to be a bargain, the best we've ever had. If he and another couple of attacking players manage to join together, then the atmosphere could make the team coach a real magic bus, with everyone getting in tune, making this season an amazing journey. Maybe even the promoted academy players will come good; I can't explain, but I think the kids are alright. I hope we won't get fooled again and find that the song is over, although my wife keeps saying you better you better you bet. I'm the seeker for enough points, anyway, anyhow, anywhere so I can be a real happy jack. Maybe it's my generation, but I'm not sure we can give eyesight to the blind.
I was planning on having a relaxing afternoon watching the cricket, but Wood & Stokes have totally stymied that. I'll just have to go back to the light entertainment of Halsall's 'Barbarian Migrations and the Roman West (376-568)' I suppose. Do you think it's alright? Who cares, I'm not listening to you. Who are you?
I am not sure if Tom really believes he is the best finisher or just saying it as Vata scored ? https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/24789134.watford-boss-challenges-players-not-so-sexy-work/
Not sure I think he has the higher ceiling of him and Baah, but he's starting to look a good prospect and is an enjoyable player to watch.
He’s got a bit more composure than Baah and has some end product which puts him ahead of Chak. He’s a huge talent, a great signing and will go for big money in the future.
