Not for me. After he cut inside, Jurado-style, he didn't pass sideways or backwards. Hasn't this guy got any idea about how to play football?
Negotiations supposedly at an advanced stage. http://www.tuttojuve.com/calciomerc...585?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter please please please
The good thing is that he understands the Pozzo setup. This could have a major say in any transfer. Maybe he was the one being shown around the training ground this week. With Pjanic "spelling" almost certain to leave Roma for Juve he will defiantly be on the move. So why not here? This will really show others pondering moves that we mean business.
If it was him being shown round the training ground , I think we can safely say this is s done deal . I doubt whether Juves training ground is so well connected with proximity to the country s 2 foremost motorways and numerous train links . That's not even mentioning the extensive bus network that links together the various administrative and business hubs of Hertfordshire and our neighbouring counties . Welcome to Watford Pereyra.
That is uncannily close. Perhaps the scar came from the undoubtedly difficult operation of combining 2 peoples faces onto a third persons skull. Imagine the player we could have made if that operation had been around when Peter Beardsley and Gazza were in their prime.
This definitely has the potential... to become a 100 page long thread involving a sighting in Chiswell Green Starbucks, an attempted gazumping by Bournemouth, some agent shenanigans, a WDSport/WO disagreement on how close the deal is, all followed by him staying in Italy.
Just a word of caution. He may be great, but he's never scored more than 5 goals in a season so he's unlikely to add to our midfield scoring potential. It would be good to sign somebody who can do that.
So sounds like we could make an agreement with Juve but I would imagine persuading the player to come will be another story. Just need to get the guys who "sealed" the Holebas deal and it should be a done deal.
It says that the deal relies on Juve obtaining Miralem Pjanic from Roma. Bit early in the transfer window to be Pjanic buying isnt it ?
We all know it's only a matter of time before they put in a bid, now the news is out we're after him.
Never heard of him! Is he likely to get in the team with both Jurado and a resurgent Berghuis available for selection? A bit concerned that the fee indicates he is not as good as Vardy and Mahrez who we should be putting in bids for in for IMHO
People said he was un real in the Juve team winning the Champ league... He played 35 games that season yet just 13 times last season! Also he hasn't played for Argentina for over a year... Is this down to injuries or is he just woefully out of form..... ?
He missed 22 games due to injury, according to this: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/roberto-pereyra/verletzungen/spieler/112302
Ongoing thigh muscle problems (the semimembranosus muscle per one article I found). Presumably the Pozzos believe our sports science team can sort him out.
