Always wonder why Mods don't just move the transfer threads into here when people are signed? Would save having to lock them, doesn't interrupt ongoing conversations, reduces overall number of threads.

I like him. Think he will be a big hit in this league.

 

I agree. He's got a bit about him. Big, physical and loves the dark arts. We don't have any other player like that, so he's certainly worth his place in the squad. Not a starter for me, but a good bench player.

 

Well, he puts in a shift, but, yeah, we don't want to see him starting too often do we?

Agreed, nowhere near as bad as everyone crying about but he should've scored! His movement for the one Asprilla put on a plate for him was fantastic! Gets into the positions just needs more composure!

 

We've had worse strikers, but unfortunately I don't think composure is something you can just learn at his age!

I did not go to the PNE match, but on Tuesday at St Andrew’s, I thought he was ok. Nothing fabulous, but good enough to be in the match day squad. But more Geijo than Ighalo.

 

Looks like he suffered serious hamstring damage based on Edwards's words today.

Manaj has been in Turku Finland this weekend to had his hamstring operated. It was done by local surgeon Lasse Lempainen. He also operated AC Milan Alessandro Florenzin and it seems his damage was worse and his recovery will last five months. Ray is supposed to be back earlier. I think there was another Watford player who was operated here year ago, but can`t remember who it was. Back in the days Beckham had his operation done over her eby another surgeon. There is still a pitza named by Beckham available in one of the local pitzerias. One named after Manaj maeby...? Story was in the main Finnish newspaper on Sunday; Helsingin Sanomat.

 

I presume they'll let us know when they find the full extent of the injury themselves?

He put up a picture on Instagram of himself in the changing room holding his boots, so I guess he's doing some running outside. I predict he'll be back just after the World Cup, just in time for us to loan him to Sabadell in the January window.

 

Same. Completely forgot he existed.

 

I think the investment in Spanish tier three club is one reason we are still in the market for these type of players. He is good enough for mid table championship, but no doubt he will be recycled through the estate.
