Really does show how poor the summer transfer window was. Hause/Bayo/Manaj out of the squad by Jan, Gaspar has needed an additional reinforcement in his position, Okoye hasn’t got into the side and been poor in the cups (may get shipped out too) and then two loanees Choudhury and Davis who have been good and decent respectively but would need huge fees to stay beyond the summer. We failed to sell the player (Sarr) we were actively hawking too.
Another woeful waste of time. It's hilarious quite how obvious it was that both him and Bayo would prove to be awful signings. Lessons learned.
At least we seem to be getting quicker again at moving on players that aren't good enough. When the Pozzos first took over there was of course the quick-fire turn-around of seemingly under-performing managers, but they also got through a lot of players until they found ones who were up to it. While they've continued to be ruthless with hiring and firing managers, the same ethos in replacing dud players seemed to desert them a few seasons ago.
Also hilarious how some argued that they weren't bad signings at the time, despite all the evidence to the contrary.
One of few players I have ever known to get crocked over-stretching and missing an open goal from less than 2 yards out. We will never know if he was any good had he played for a set length of time, but he is not in our long term plans, along with Bayo and Okoye. Problem with Okoye leaving it would leave us short with just Hamer as backup. Unless we want to tempt, you know, Dhalberg?
Bilic has barely seen Manaj play and Manga hasn't seen him play at all yet they still think he's sh!t.
Seems to just be travelling around Europe most of the time. I don't care as long as he isn't on a football pitch wearing a Watford shirt.
Manaj doesn't irritate me as much as the Bayo deal as he was a free transfer. The unfortunate thing for him is that he's been crocked for a while and I don't think he'll get a look in much now with Britt, Davis, Araújo and particularly Adeyemo impressing.

I was totally correct on Bayo regarding his fee, his ability, that he wouldn't last the season and that he would be loaned out. Okoye will be going the Summer. Bachmann might also be on his way out. He is not good enough. Angelini move surprises me. Not much known about his progress at Watford. It appears that Watfotd is the graveyard club for young keepers.
Yes I'm sure there are more that I couldn't immediately think of...just pointing out that whilst we've signed some great strikers over the years, Bayo is a long way from being the only dud !! Was Oulare another Bayat special ?
